If you haven't ridden the Ferris wheel, you should definitely try it! It's a must-do in Tianjin. I rode it in 2017 and thought I'd give it another try with my kids this time! Unexpectedly, the Tianjin Eye's cabin has been upgraded! We originally planned to ride the Haihe River cruise on the same day, but later realized we couldn't do both if we planned to ride it after the lights were on. Because the lines for the Ferris wheel were unpredictable, we waited for half an hour and rode for another half an hour. The Tianjin Eye is quite a distance from the cruise terminal. Luckily, I was able to schedule another cruise the next day.
"Ride" or "see"? If you don't want to queue or find the ticket price high, simply taking photos with the train from a distance and along the Haihe River is equally enjoyable. It's especially beautiful at night when lit up.
Best Time: If you want to ride, try to ride on weekdays or during the day (the night view is beautiful, but the lines are the most formidable). Be sure to check weather and operating announcements in advance.
Manage Expectations: The train primarily offers a panoramic view of the city and a sense of ceremony. Don't expect excessive luxury or thrills inside the cabin.

I took an open-top cruise ship, which I think is higher than other closed ones. It is definitely good for taking pictures or viewing the scenery. It is still cool at night in September. I think it is worth the money.
It was quite nice. I saw the night view on both sides of the Haihe River. There were many people singing on both sides. Tianjin is really nice. The scenery on both sides is also good. I basically passed all the attractions in Tianjin and saw Tianjin Station. I took a lot of photos.

The ticket price is 80 yuan, and Ctrip has a small discount. The Young Marshal's former residence retains many artifacts, especially the piano on the first floor. The inscription on the Young Marshal's Tiger Sword reads: "When the time comes, be bold." The residence offers free guided tours, which are excellent. Best of all, there are multiple sessions, each starting after a short wait.
Although Ctrip booked us a 10:00 AM time, the tour guide said we could set our own time when we contacted them. This allowed us to arrive half an hour earlier, which was a bit cooler. We were introduced to the French Garden and the surrounding celebrity residences. We also gave a detailed introduction to the Zhang Xueliang attraction. We also helped take family photos.

The facilities are very close together, so it doesn't take long to get from one to the next. There was a celebrity performance that day, which resulted in a large crowd, significantly impacting the experience. However, the park actually offered a free, voluntary transfer to Ocean Park, as the two parks are connected by a pathway. Ocean Park was so much fun that my kids spent five hours there and still weren't satisfied.

It's a great place to take the kids. The marine animals are well-maintained and healthy. I didn't manage to see them all in one day. I quickly visited the Future Jellyfish Pavilion just before closing time, but I didn't get to see them all. The Polar Circus was thrilling and engaging. While the Polar Parade didn't have many performers, the atmosphere was wonderful and joyful. There's no need to buy a separate ticket for the water park; the complimentary ticket was still enough for a bit of fun. My only complaint was that, aside from the tall, bespectacled man at the entrance to the main pavilion, the service from the other staff was terrible. They looked impatient, and even the responses to my questions were incredibly slow!
