Visited during the off-peak season before the Chinese 5/1 holidays so it was fairly empty. In fact, aside from a few scenic spots filled with photographers, the broader park was a bit of a sad ghost town.. perhaps it’s pricey for local standards, but makes for an enjoyable sunset stroll. There is a flagship night show that requires extra tickets/payments, but we only learned about it there.
The entire park is beautifully landscaped, offering stunning views both during the day and at night. Many beautiful women, all wearing stunning makeup, come to take photos, adding to the beauty of the Tang Paradise. Evening performances are available, so be sure to book tickets in advance during peak season. Watching a performance on Chuanshan Mountain is a truly unique experience.

The Chang'an Twelve Hours themed street has won wide acclaim from tourists for its unique immersive experience, rich cultural activities, food and shopping, innovative cultural and tourism integration, and technological empowerment, becoming a new cultural landmark of Xi'an.
It was great, but we went a little late, so we didn't get to try on the Tang suits and take photos. I'll definitely go back if I get a chance. The show was great. I went hungry, but it was so good that I had to eat a quick meal inside. I insisted on finishing the show before heading out for something special. I have to give a double thumbs up to the staff for their dedication and service. My ticket was for two days, so I didn't go back because I was pressed for time. I'll definitely watch the entire show next time.

The Danfeng Palace explanation should be on the hour, but fortunately we only waited for more than ten minutes, and the explanation lasted about an hour. It is better to understand the Daming Palace and its glorious history with the explanation.
Ruins are just ruins, nothing there. I couldn't find the museum I was supposed to visit. Just when I was about to give up, I found a pit. The museum is right down there, underground...

The performance content is really eye-catching, and the live performance is also very exciting. It is worth seeing the performance. There are many small performances in the scenic area, and my father-in-law is very good.
This trip to Xi'an was a decision I won't regret! I bought a package for two adults and one child, and was even given a free upgrade to VIP seats. What incredible luck! The show, which spans the Banpo period to the present day, boasts a variety of spectacular special effects that truly captivate. It's definitely worth bringing the kids along; it's both educational and fun. Highly recommended!

The Forest of Steles is a chronicle in stone, over nine hundred years condensed between ink marks and blades. The calligraphy of Yan and Liu still carries the sharp edge of the Tang dynasty, while the Six Horses of Zhaoling, though broken, still radiate the grandeur of a prosperous era. Touching the cool inscriptions with your fingertips, you hear the intertwined echoes of the chiseling of artisans, the reciting of scholars, and the turning of pages of history. This open-air temple of calligraphy immortalizes a millennium of cultural heritage on these small stone tablets.
The new museum is very large and you can't finish visiting it. The tour guide Huang Yifan is very good. He talked for 4 hours without stopping. He is very professional and amazing. It was a very good cultural journey.

This summer, I visited the Luoyang Museum. We met at 9:30 AM and the tour started right on time. Our guide, Li, was fantastic. We were traveling with a group. She guided us through the best routes, avoiding the crowds. She was very humorous and her storytelling was incredibly engaging.
Taking my six-year-old to the Luoyang Museum, I was initially worried she wouldn't be able to stand still. But Xiaoya, the guide, unexpectedly transformed the experience into a "historical adventure"! For three hours, she used her patience, compassion, and profound knowledge to transform the artifacts into stories that spoke to the child. 💐 She bent over, squatted, and half-knelt to connect with the child at eye level, even holding her hand to look at things she couldn't see. Even when the child asked seemingly irrelevant questions, she smiled and offered a variety of answers and praise. The tenderness in her voice touched me. It turns out that patience isn't just about perfunctory responses; it's about embracing a child's curiosity as a treasure. I asked my daughter why she could listen so intently for three hours, and she said it was because Xiaoya's explanations were so captivating! Whether it was pottery, bronze artifacts, or statues, she transformed the boring details of the era and craftsmanship into something the child could understand. She always found the best angles for the child to view, and even used a tablet to show details about the artifacts and expand on the subject! For three hours, Xiaoya showed me that good explanations aren't about imparting knowledge; they're about igniting a child's eyes. Next time I take my kids to a museum, I look forward to meeting someone like this who "puts love into their explanations." Parents who have taken their kids to the Luoyang Museum highly recommend Xiaoya; it's an excellent value!

[Scenery] Stepping into the Xi'an Museum begins a profound dialogue with history. The museum boasts a rich collection, ranging from pristine bronzes from the pre-Qin period to exquisite artifacts from the Han and Tang dynasties, each piece bearing the weight of time. The museum's treasured tri-colored flying horse, with its swift and agile posture, seems poised to leap forth at any moment, awe-inspiring the exquisite craftsmanship of the ancients. [Fun] Beyond the artifacts, the museum's architecture is also unique, skillfully blending traditional and modern elements. A stroll through its charm is a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The museum also boasts a highly realistic sand table display of the 108 Fangs of the Sui and Tang dynasties, transporting you back a thousand years. Don't miss this place when visiting Xi'an!
I absolutely rave about the Xi'an Museum. I couldn't get an appointment with the Shaanxi History Museum, so I had to use the Xi'an Museum as a substitute. The visit was fantastic. The issues of poor layout and crowds, as some reviews have mentioned, were completely absent. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda is absolutely stunning. The Wild Goose Pagoda Morning Bell lives up to its name. The cultural and creative products are super cute. I shopped a lot along the way. Each of the ten collections is truly remarkable. The instructor was very professional. To make up for our regret of not going to the Shaanxi History Museum, he even highlighted several of the museum's artifacts. The Xi'an Museum has the same large gold cake as the Shaanxi History Museum. The cultural and creative gold cake is incredibly realistic. Don't forget to buy one.

The Stork Tower is one of the Four Great Towers, famous throughout history for its poem by Wang Zhihuan. Climbing the tower offers a magnificent view of the Yellow River, a fusion of history and nature, rich in cultural heritage. Although a modern reconstruction, it's still worth a visit.

Seeing "The Great Qin" is an incredibly rewarding cultural journey! The exceptional stage design, with its track-moving auditorium, coupled with the immersive special effects of water, electricity, fog, and wind, and its 360-degree, six-screen transformation, immerses you in the passion and excitement of the Qin Dynasty. The actors' performances are also exceptional, vividly capturing the Qin people's lofty ambitions and patriotic sentiments. Having seen performances in nearly every first- and second-tier city in China, this is the best.
A must-see in Xi'an! This is arguably the highest-caliber drama show currently available on the Qin Dynasty narrative! It's truly an epic drama-film. It's more like a confession from the Terracotta Warriors, using a creative format (including viewing methods) and sophisticated expression to depict the Qin Dynasty's conquests and unification, as well as the origins of the Qin people. I saw several plays in Xi'an over the past few days, including "Dream of Chang'an" and "Chasing Dreams in Chang'an." I'm so glad I didn't miss "The Great Qin." It's completely different from the others. Tickets were incredibly hard to come by for the first few days, but on the last day, I was lucky enough to snag three tickets in the A zone on Ctrip at a fantastic price. The play begins with a terracotta warrior, depicting it from the perspective of a Qin soldier. It comprehensively and deeply depicts the Qin Emperor's ambition and determination to unify the six kingdoms, as well as the difficulties of his conquests. It gives viewers a new understanding of Qin Shi Huang. Previously, the impression was that he was more brutal, but he actually cared about the world, unified the territories, quelled the war, and brought peace to the people. The performance immediately begins with intense music, lighting, and sound effects, quickly immersing the audience. The protagonists' powerful and expressive use of theatrical language, coupled with sophisticated stage design and exquisitely expressive dance, is superimposed with the film's grand narrative, creating a powerful sense of immersion. Each segment is clearly and accurately conveyed, with layers of classic plot points and dialogue interwoven throughout, creating a seamless and cohesive experience. The removable seating allows for immersive viewing as the story unfolds, a truly moving and captivating experience! The plot is seamlessly delivered, with key points highlighted, ensuring that even children can grasp the artistic language. Classic lines such as "This spear is for the sake of a future without more spears" embody the message of ending war with war, conveying the Qin Emperor's deep hope for peace and the people's desire for peace. Furthermore, moving lines such as "Your Majesty, whose faces are the Terracotta Warriors?" and "Made in the image of the fallen soldiers, they are like rocks, like stars, protecting the descendants of the Chinese nation" capture the unique characteristics of the thousands of Terracotta Warriors. "Huaxia, so far China" is even more moving.
