⛰️Fangshan, centered on China's largest volcanic platform composed of Mesozoic volcanic rocks, features a typical resurrected caldera structure, resulting in a rhyolite volcanic platform landscape and ravines, streams, and waterfalls. Surrounded by 50-100-meter cliffs, the mountain's thousand-acre high platform is known as the "Garden in the Sky." The summit, at an elevation of 462 meters, offers panoramic views overlooking the Wenhuang Plain. Key attractions include the Meiyu Waterfall, Yunxiao Temple, and Elephant Trunk Rock, along with the "Three Wonders of Fangshan" meteorological wonders.
👉🏼According to legend, Wang Xizhi, while visiting Fangshan, sought refuge from rain and was delighted by the sight of the pool. He wrote "Travels to Western County" in the cave and washed his brush and inkstone in the pool, thus becoming known as the Youjun Ink Washing Pool.
🏞️The scenic area preserves cultural relics from the Song Dynasty, including the Wang Xizhi Ink Washing Pool and the Fangyan Academy, blending volcanic geology with cultural landscapes. 🌄 Located so close to the Yandang Mountains, Fangshan is often overlooked, with many flocking to Yandang Mountain. 😳 That's why Fangshan isn't often visited. That's perfect for taking photos and having fun.
⛰️Climbing Fangshan is fantastic. There's a pagoda at the top, and you can climb it for a breathtaking view of the entire Fangshan area. The scenery is truly breathtaking...
