The Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River is definitely worth seeing to experience the majestic power of the Mother River. Both the Shanxi and Shaanxi sides said they could feel the roar of the Yellow River more clearly on their side. So, I suggest building a bridge so we can visit both sides and compare the two.
It is very worthwhile to go, and the amount of water is particularly large, which is very shocking. It is really worth the trip. The only two reminders are that it is best to have a raincoat, otherwise there will be too much mud, and the second is that the gate is a bit far from the scenic area, which is really a complaint. But overall, it is still highly recommended.

Taking the direct bus to Xiaoxitian this time was an amazing experience! We were delighted by the hanging sculptures at the Thousand Buddha Temple, leaving us with unforgettable memories. The travel agency that ran this direct bus was true to their word, ensuring the bus departed on time even for just the two of us. Their service was incredibly thorough and responsible. The beautiful customer service representative at the agency called and texted the previous night to confirm the pickup point and time this morning. Bus number 3599, our tour leader and driver, took excellent care of us two elderly people along the way, patiently waiting for us to descend the mountain. A huge thumbs-up to them 👍👍 and a big thank you 🙏🙏!
It is really worth a visit. It is breathtaking, amazing, and I am in awe of the superb skills of the ancients. It is not only amazing but also very touching. I admire Shanxi for protecting this ancient building so well.

Seeing the Yellow River made me want to cry, I don't know why. The desert area was a blast, with sandboarding available for as long as you wanted. It was cloudy the day we went, and it had rained the previous night, so it wasn't hot at all. The staff at the scenic area were incredibly friendly, and I have to give them a thumbs up. The directions were clear, and I had no trouble getting lost.
As a 5A-level scenic spot in Ningxia, Shapotou Scenic Area has really good service attitude and infrastructure. Especially the entertainment projects are really worth recommending. Riding a camel 🐫 to stroll through the sand sea, taking a leisurely sheepskin raft, and riding a surfing car are thrilling. The children had a lot of fun!

I stayed in Linfen and the navigation was wrong. I came to Hukou Waterfall on the Shaanxi side and felt a little dizzy. The scenic area is good overall. The car was parked at the visitor center and the bus was taken to the waterfall. The Shaanxi side is basically parallel to the waterfall and slightly downward.
Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River is a Chinese wonder worth a once-in-a-lifetime visit. It's recommended to view it from either Shaanxi or Shanxi Province. From the Shaanxi side, traditional buildings are dotted with scattered red flags. Shaanxi offers magnificent views of Hukou, with its cascading rock formations along the shore. Stand by the river and marvel at the cascading, geometric structure of the waterfall.

It's so beautiful. You could spend a whole day exploring this attraction. It's even more beautiful when the sun comes out after a light rain. The road leading to the parking lot is currently under repair, so there's only a narrow dirt road, and they even charge a parking fee.
