The scenic area is very large, so it is best to stay for a while. Most people come here for the Buddha's Crown Palace, but the other sights are also very nice. The shock of the Buddha's Crown Palace still needs to be seen in person.
Nanjing's Niu Shou Mountain, built at a cost of 4 billion yuan, is truly breathtaking! The scenery is truly picturesque! The underground palace is a must-see, as it offers a wealth of attractions. If the area isn't crowded, we recommend going up to the Buddha's Top Pagoda for a panoramic view of Niu Shou Mountain. It's also very cool up there! We recommend taking the scenic area's eco-friendly buses, especially for those entering and exiting through the East Gate.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel is close to nearby attractions, making travel convenient. It happened to be a cool day, and the complimentary travel photography session was also excellent. The makeup artist, Zan Zi, did a beautiful hair job, and the photographer, Mr. Zhou, was very patient and provided great guidance. The photos were also very successful. I really enjoyed this trip. 😊 Being able to take photos in the hotel, rather than waiting in line at the scenic spots, was really convenient. The room was a renovated old house, so it's definitely not perfect, but overall, I was very satisfied!
The combined ticket discount was about 15% off, not much, but better than nothing. The scenery in Yangzhou was truly beautiful, and the crowds were just right, so it wasn't lonely or crowded. The water bus could have been longer for more convenience. We took a rowboat on Slender West Lake. The charter price was 1,000 yuan, and they only left when the boat was full. In the end, six of us took the boat to Xiaojinshan for 500 yuan. Even on a cloudy day, it was beautiful.

For first-time visitors to Laoshan, I recommend three days. It's truly vast. On the first day, visit Taiqing and Huayan, on the second, Yangkou and Jiushui, and on the third, Jufeng.
I personally think Laoshan is best suited for self-driving tours. The scenic bus stops directly at the parking lot, so you'll miss out on many scenic views along the way.
How can you visit Qingdao without visiting Laoshan? It's home to Laoshan, the most famous mountain on the sea and the highest peak on China's coastline. I did some research before going and found several scenic areas. My first visit, I chose Yangkou and Taiqing. The scenery was beautiful, and the cable car ride up wasn't tiring. Climbing up to Tianyuan, the view was breathtaking. There's a giant rock inscribed with the Chinese characters "Laoshan" (literally "Laoshan"), offering a panoramic view of the mountains, sea, and sky. I also enjoyed some Laoshan Baihuashecao water and Laoshan Coke, which were quite unique. The Baihuashecao water wasn't too bad, so I was fine. [Laughing and crying]

It's a very fun playground with many rides, a large area, and wonderful performances. Two days should be just right for playing there. However, some of the decorations are a bit old and I suggest renovating them.
This is a well-known amusement park and dinosaur education center in China. The overall environment is pleasant, and the several dinosaur-themed areas each have their own unique character. The park's themed atmosphere is strong, creating an immersive experience. Several of the rides have been updated and are quite interesting, with plenty of attractions for both adults and children. While it's a bit old, it doesn't detract from the overall experience, demonstrating its maturity. The park was relatively unpopular that day, which improved the overall experience. However, the park closed at 5 PM, which was too early, so I didn't get to enjoy some attractions.

The zoo is huge. I thought I could leave in an hour or two, but it took me four hours even though I didn't visit a few pavilions. I recommend going when it opens because that's when the least people are. By the time we were about to leave, it was already crowded. The animals are all very cute and well-fed. There was an orderly queue at the check-in area. It was a good experience.
I didn't do any research before going, and I assumed all zoos were the same, so 2 hours would be enough to explore them all. It wasn't until I arrived at Hongshan that I realized there were animals you wouldn't see in other zoos, and the layout and thematic categories were unique. Even though there were so many people, I wanted to explore even when I was tired. I even stayed until closing time, still trying to find the animals to see. The orangutans and koalas left the deepest impression on me. I'll definitely come back when I have time.

This trip to the Confucius Temple and Confucius Mansion was a truly enriching cultural experience, guided by our guide, Xun. His explanations were easy to understand and gave us a vivid and engaging understanding of Confucian culture. Free luggage storage was available before the tour, and a dedicated shuttle service was provided to return us to the departure point afterward, which was very convenient. The Ctrip staff were also very welcoming.
Qufu boasts the Confucius Temple, Confucius Mansion, and Confucius Cemetery. I drove all the way from Beijing with my nearly 80-year-old parents to visit. Admission is free for those over 60, so I give Shandong a big thumbs up for its cultural tourism. It fulfilled my parents' wish to see the sage's office and residence. Perfect!

The former residence of the President of the National Government, commonly known as the Meiling Palace, is located at No. 9 Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Xuanwu District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Built in 1931, it served as one of the Nanjing residences of President Chiang Kai-shek and his wife, Soong Mei-ling.
The former residence covers an area of 80,000 square meters, with a construction area of over 2,000 square meters. It comprises a main building, a guardhouse, a garage, and a garden. The main structure, facing north and south, is three stories high and includes a basement. Modeled after traditional Chinese palace architecture, it embodies a blend of Chinese and Western design concepts. It is the largest single villa in Nanjing during the Republican era and one of the most complete surviving Republican-era villas, possessing high historical and artistic value.
On June 25, 2001, the former National Government Site, including the former residence, was designated by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as a fifth-batch National Key Cultural Relics Protection Site.
In 1930, Chiang Kai-shek formally proposed to the Premier's Mausoleum Management Committee the construction of a villa on Xiaohongshan Hill within the mausoleum. On October 24 of the same year, the Mausoleum Management Committee held its 24th meeting, chaired by Sun Ke, and resolved to "do as instructed."
In 1931, construction began on the Xiaohongshan Villa. Designed by Zhao Zhiyou, Director of the Nanjing Municipal Government's Public Works Bureau, Chen Pinshan, Chief Engineer, and built by the Xinjinjikanghao Construction Company, the estimated cost was 261,410 yuan.
In 1932, the Xiaohongshan Villa was completed and designated as the official residence of the President of the National Government.
In 1934, the official residence of the President of the National Government was converted to the Xiaohongshan Official Residence, serving as a resting place for senior officials visiting the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum.
In 1947, after the National Government returned its capital to Nanjing, the Xiaohongshan Official Residence became Chiang Kai-shek's official residence. Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling often visited the residence to rest, worship, and vacation, earning it the nickname "Meiling Palace." In 1950, the former residence of the President of the National Government was taken over by the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Administration as public property and converted into a sanatorium for senior cadres of Jiangsu Province. In 1951, the former residence of the President of the National Government was converted into a sanatorium for cadres directly under the Nanjing Municipal Government, and later into the Dongjiao Hotel. On September 1, 1990, the former residence of the President of the National Government was merged into the Jinling Hotel by the Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Bureau. In March 2012, the former residence of the President of the National Government was re-assigned to the management of the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Administration [4].
Zhongshan Scenic Area is very worth visiting, but it is recommended to change the visiting time to two or three days. I visited it with a friend in one day. The overall experience was great and full of history, but one day was too short, and some attractions could not be fully visited. But overall it was great and highly recommended!
