It was a worthwhile and wonderful trip. Thanks to Ctrip for arranging it. The free day on the last day was like an extra day of leisure time because our flight was late. The hotel had average reviews online, but I thought the transportation was very convenient. We visited most of the planned attractions. It was a very happy time with the Luo family.
There are lots of performances every day, and it's always fun when I bring friends from other provinces. You just have to immerse yourself in it, hahaha. Nowadays, many buildings have restaurants (specializing in their respective ethnic groups), which is quite fun. You can enjoy roasted milk fan in the Bai village, and there are Dai-style restaurants in the Dai village. Restaurant prices are generally comparable to those outside the scenic area, so they're very affordable.

There's no way to finish exploring it! The zoo is so huge! My kids think it's even bigger than Chimelong Zoo! And there are so many interactive areas with the animals! Monkeys, raccoons, parrots, sea lions, tigers... The key is that the area is so large! With so many people, the restrooms are still clean, tidy, and spacious! It's really hard to do that!
Good place for families and for folks who like animals. Very large zoo and need to book the park tour instead of walking.

We are also running to the pictures on the Internet, but when we see Yelang Valley, the shock and the screen look completely different! These stone statues are built by the folk artist Song Peilun for more than 20 years. He made it by hand with natural stones, scrap tiles, pots of karst landforms. The stone statue is inspired by Guizhou drama, the shape is exaggerated and mysterious, more than 300 totem stone statues in the scenic spot have their own expressions, full of the mysterious tension of the original tribe. By the way, it is very hot during the day in August. It is recommended to enter the valley after 3 pm. It takes about an hour and a half to play normally (not counting the round-trip drive). The girls who love to take pictures are right here, especially the location near the river. The stone statues are built on the mountain, scattered and scattered, with the mysterious charm of the East, especially the film (preparing wild wind costumes to match)~
I went to Guiyang and visited a scenic spot. I also saw the recommendation on the Internet, but it is hard to describe it in words. If you bring children or like to take photos and check in, it is still very good. However, if you are purely traveling, you should be cautious about making a special trip. It is still very beautiful. There are too many beautiful things in Guizhou.

Because I felt a little overwhelmed after the Huangguoshu group tour the day before, I decided to charter a car to the Sky Eye. I booked it in the evening. The driver contacted us overnight and waited for us at the hotel entrance early the next morning. The driving was very stable throughout the journey. We wanted to take a detour to the Sky Bridge on the way back, and the driver had no complaints. The service attitude was very good, five-star recommendation 😘😘😘
It's a place you'll regret visiting if you don't. I recommend going there for children in third grade or older. They won't understand it, but adults who know it will think it's great. It might be better when children are older, and they'll be proud of it. You can't take pictures or use your phone. I don't have any photos, so here are some monkey photos.

Wujiang Village is well built, but I really don't recommend coming here on holidays because there are too many people, which completely affects the mood of traveling. There are people everywhere when taking pictures, and when going to the toilet. Even when we were tired and wanted to sit down by the road, there was no place to sit. In the end, we chose to go boating.
The night view is very beautiful, and the photos are very filmy. The drone and light show are worth seeing. If you have never taken a rowboat, you can experience it. It is suitable for spending more time to stroll around slowly. It is not bad.

As long as you arrive at the attraction by 8:30, there will be no long queues! You don't have to take a taxi to the northwest gate to walk in. You can just buy the package ticket and take a comfortable sightseeing bus to the iron boat entrance. I visited the karst cave and the dry cave. The journey was not bad. There were not many people along the way, so I could take as many photos as I wanted.
Online platforms only sell adult tickets; child tickets must be purchased on-site. When I visited on August 20th, it was quite empty, likely due to heavy rain that morning. I arrived at 10:30 am and was immediately able to board the sightseeing bus and boat. Some of the signage within the scenic area is poorly placed. I didn't enter the Dry Cave and spent an hour searching for the zipline starting point. The sign for the zipline is located at the Dry Cave exit, making it easier to find. If you walk straight ahead without entering the Dry Cave, the sign for the zipline is located at the left rear corner of an intersection. Most tourists look straight ahead, so it's hard to see it there. There were no other signs leading to the zipline along the way. The prices for various food and beverages within the scenic area are the same as outside, with no price increase due to the scenic location. Locals are even allowed to sell local fruit, corn, and other items with baskets, which is very affordable. This is a truly excellent feature.

The best place to get to know a local is through a museum. Yunbo Museum is right next to Guandu Ancient Town. We went in the morning and it was quite crowded. Our tour guide said it was even more crowded in the afternoon, probably because many people visit Yunbo Museum before heading to Guandu Ancient Town.
The guide was very good! He covered six historical museums in two hours and covered almost all the important cultural relics. Yunnan's historical relics are very interesting. I benefited a lot and will come again next time!

The scenery is beautiful, but there's some traffic. Traffic jams happen because some people think they're smarter than others and skip the line, overtaking from the side lanes and blocking oncoming traffic. I've taken photos of these cars skipping the line and exposing them, hoping to foster public scrutiny and promote social progress. We can't always let those who skip the line take advantage while those with public morals suffer.
This is the location mentioned in Chairman Mao's poem "The Long March." "The Five Ridges wind like gentle waves, the Wumeng Mountains are majestic and majestic, rolling in the mud." The great man's words are imbued with revolutionary passion. Back in 1935, at a time of national crisis, a group of Red Army troops, filled with revolutionary ideals to transform the world and build a new China, began their journey in the mountains of Jiangxi and Hunan. They were then forced into the Long March by counter-revolutionary encirclement and suppression. Eighty years ago, in today's peaceful times, have become a beautiful sight before our eyes. The hardships endured by the Red Army have become the roads we now face, the natural barriers we face now, and the world has been transformed! Arriving at the Wumeng Grassland, we'll find farmhouses and hotels along the way, each with its own cattle and sheep slaughterhouse. Herds of cattle and sheep abound, leisurely grazing amidst the blue sky, white clouds, and verdant mountains and clear waters. Here, too, there are groups of horseback riders and herders grazing their cattle. Galloping on horseback through the alpine meadows was such a joy... The road winds along, filled with seas of clouds, mountains, horses, cattle, sheep, and people unfettered by their own freedom, as well as tents and RVs of all colors. There are also campsites and people trekking up the canyon. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the people taking photos and checking in admirably embellish the beautiful scenery, a true reflection of the people's yearning and pursuit for a better life! The road may be long, but the journey will eventually lead to the destination! We also rode the bus through the rolling hills, letting our eyes take in the scenery and our hearts wander freely. Someone played "To the Clouds," which was perfectly fitting! Everyone sang and sang, taking in photos and checking in on the Cloud Plank Road. Occasionally, cattle and sheep would approach, unfazed. Many people drove along the mountain roads, but some cars unfortunately got stuck, causing traffic congestion in some sections. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable. Just one moment, the sky was clear, then suddenly it was overcast. From time to time, clouds would blow in, and then a moment later, a steady rain would fall... Perhaps this is the beauty and magic of the Wumeng Grassland. It's said that around 4 p.m., the Tyndall effect occurs, where sunlight scatters through clouds. If you're lucky, you might even witness the Buddha's light shining brightly. Due to time constraints, we didn't see it. We continued on our journey, passing through lush green mountains and clear waters, and then walked a long, poorly maintained road before reaching the Beipanjiang Bridge, said to be the world's tallest bridge at 600 meters. This is a great victory for our country's infrastructure, and it's a testament to the fact that mountain dwellers have transformed natural barriers into accessible roads, no longer feeling overwhelmed by the sight of mountains.

Adults can bring their children to play, and both adults and children will have a lot of fun. It is impossible to play here in one day. The food inside is relatively expensive, so it is best to bring some food with you. Some areas may be slightly cheaper, but generally it is more expensive than outside. Don't buy raincoats outside, as the water activities inside are all free. When I left, I took a picture of the beautiful sunset, which was very photogenic. It's a pity that I didn't get to play many activities with my baby, but the older children didn't want to leave after having so much fun.
I played for a whole day and had a very good experience. The weather was not hot, there were not many people, the queue was fast, the food inside was not expensive and tasted very good, I will come again in the future

Transportation is inconvenient, with too few tourists and the Jingyu Bus Station shuttle bus not running. Taking a taxi to the scenic area is okay, but the return trip is a hassle. The scenic area is about 4.3 km from the highway entrance. Suitable for self-driving.
**Equan: A Secluded Waterscape** The beauty of Equan lies in its clarity and tranquility. The water is as translucent as jade, with swaying aquatic plants and frolicking fish, creating a natural landscape painting. In the morning mist, the entire area resembles a fairyland, while at dusk, the Fifteen-Arch Ancient Bridge becomes even more poetic under the setting sun, a paradise for photography enthusiasts. This is a perfect place for a leisurely stroll. Take a bamboo raft across the lake, touch the cool spring water, and experience the purest rural charm. The nearby farmhouses also offer delicious and affordable delicacies such as spring-fed fish and yellow-skinned duck. Avoid the crowds (entrance is free before 7:30 AM or after 7:00 PM) and enjoy this tranquility all to yourself. **In a nutshell**: Equan may be small, but its beauty is pure, making it the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle!
