I knew about Mawangdui when I watched Day Day Up when I was a kid, but I only knew the name. This time I had the opportunity to visit the museum and observe it up close. I finally saw the ancient poetry in the museum. To be honest, it was really shocking. It was a very unforgettable experience. I also went to Tao Zhe's concert here, which was very good.
There are so many treasures, all very cute. The explanation is the main part, and most of the time you can explore on your own. I went early, and when I first entered, there was no one at Lady Xin Zhui's place, so I could see it "without any obstacles". I really liked the part about clothes. I found it magical to listen to the explanation. Although I can't remember too much, it is much more interesting than exploring on my own. I bought a plush human-faced tripod refrigerator magnet, which I like very much.

Orange Island, a dazzling pearl embedded in the landscape of Changsha, carries a profound historical and cultural heritage and holds immense significance. It is not only a National 5A-level tourist attraction but also the visual centerpiece of Changsha's distinctive "Mountain, Water, Island, and City" landscape. A visit to Changsha without visiting Orange Island would be like missing out on the city's soul. Here, you can take a photo with the magnificent sculpture of a young Mao Zedong. The sculpture, reflecting people's deep remembrance of the great man, attracts countless visitors seeking to check in and trace his legacy. Besides its rich cultural heritage, Orange Island's natural scenery is equally captivating. Surrounded by water, overlooking Yuelu Mountain to the west and the ancient city to the east, its flat terrain makes it the largest island among the sandbars in the lower reaches of the Xiangjiang River and the world's largest inland island, earning it the title of "China's First Island."
Orange Island is a must-see attraction when visiting Changsha. My visit was absolutely amazing! I made reservations in advance through the "Yuelu Mountain Orange Island Tourist Area" official account and was able to easily enter the park by simply scanning the QR code. It was incredibly convenient. There's no entrance fee, so it's free to visit—a fantastic value for money! Upon entering, I was greeted by a sea of greenery. The landscaping was incredibly well-maintained, and the air was incredibly fresh. Strolling along the riverbank, the gentle breeze caressing my face, and gazing at the shimmering Xiang River was a truly relaxing experience. A must-see is the sculpture of young Mao Zedong. The moment I saw it in person, I was deeply moved. This magnificent sculpture perfectly captures the great man's youthful vigor and vitality. Standing before it, I felt a surge of pride and quickly snapped countless photos. When you're tired of strolling around, head to the snack street, where you'll find a dazzling array of Changsha specialties, from stinky tofu to sugar-coated glutinous rice cakes. Every bite exudes the authentic Changsha flavor, instantly energizing you. Transportation is also incredibly convenient. I highly recommend taking Metro Line 2 and getting off at Orange Island Station. The scenic area entrance is right outside the station. If you're driving, there are parking lots nearby, but parking can be a bit time-consuming during holidays. This trip to Orange Island was truly unforgettable, offering not only breathtaking natural scenery but also a rich cultural atmosphere. I'll definitely come back for another chance!

Enter through Gate 3, buy tickets for free on Ctrip or scan the QR code. Apart from taking a few photos on Love Island, there is nothing special about the 90 yuan cruise and a 60-70 minute Li River cruise.
The park is not very big, probably because it is summer vacation and it is the landmark of Guilin. When I went in at 17:30 in the afternoon, I was shocked by the crowds of people at the photo booth. It was a pity that I couldn't play in the water in the water area.

In recent years, I've taken night cruises in Zhenyuan, Guangzhou, the Pearl River, Chengdu, Ningbo, Nanning, and Chongqing. Guilin's bus was the most expensive, and the experience was also the best. Ningbo's 110 bus was the worst. Besides the lights on both sides of the Three Rivers and Two Lakes night cruise, each bridge we passed had its own unique character. The pier was right at the end of the pedestrian street, and we even watched the waterfall hotel release water. It was quite unique and a must-see in Guilin. We stayed at the Guilin Hotel and walked back directly after the tour; it was very close.
The route was very smooth, making it difficult to get seasick. The refreshments on board were also good. However, it's easy to mistakenly think of the "Two Rivers and Four Lakes" route when purchasing it! In fact, this route only covers the four lakes, and it goes back and forth to the Riyue Bay pier. The guide's voice was too quiet to hear clearly. The night views on both sides were beautiful, and although the trip lasted less than an hour, I still felt like I wanted more.

A small pavilion mainly records the life and birth of Du Fu, and then travels all the way. Some of the videos are only three stories high. When there is nowhere to go, you can go up and take a walk. It is Orange Island on the other side of the river and take some photos.
The night view of Du Fu Jiangge is more beautiful than the day view. It is crowded at night, but deserted during the day. The performance is also quite exciting, but it is too short. It ended in 10 minutes, which was too fast. I didn't have time to see it clearly. I almost didn't see anything. I suggest that the performance time can be longer in the future to make it more worthwhile.

The first attraction in Guilin during the Mid-Autumn Festival, the ticket price is 100 yuan with the guided tour. The guide is also very serious. In addition to the guided tour, there are many interactive experience parts, which makes you spend your money happily. This is a very different experience. I wrote the word "Fu", experienced the exam, and saw the origin of the saying "Guilin landscape is the best under heaven". I really recommend it.
It was a fascinating trip. Wangcheng is a campus of Guangxi Normal University. The guide was a teacher from the university. He was incredibly knowledgeable and could readily recite historical allusions and ancient poetry. I was impressed! He gave us a vivid history and culture lesson! The most impressive things were the Wangfu secret carvings, the Five Blessings, and the Tai Sui culture!

The Longji Rice Terraces are a masterpiece of nature. They not only boast beautiful natural scenery and a long history and cultural heritage, but also carry people's yearning and pursuit for a better life.
The first time I saw the terraced fields, I was very shocked. I went there in the off-season, so there were very few people. I didn't need to stay in the mountains, and half a day was enough to play there. If you are carsick, take medicine in advance, because the mountain road is really winding.

The three-star cruise ship is a special one, the price is moderate, and the cabin is randomly assigned in the upper cabin. Recently, there are not many people, which is very convenient. Youchuan provides special services. On March 3, there were staff in ethnic costumes on board. The service was very considerate, constantly cleaning, pouring tea, etc., and guiding customers. They were very polite and the experience was very good.
Aside from the lack of hotel pickup and the need to get up early to reach the meeting point, everything else was flawless. The land guide was very professional! He patiently explained the route to the pier, and the service was excellent! The experience was efficient, and the entire cruise went smoothly. The entire experience confirmed the value of choosing Samsung Cruises.

excellent cruise. they have snacks whose quality could be improved.
This time I took a four-star cruise 🛳️ in Guilin, from Guilin to Yangshuo, which felt good. The seats in the upper cabin were comfortable 😌 and spacious. The scenery on both sides of the Li River was beautiful. I also ordered osmanthus fish as an extra dish on the boat, which tasted good!

Wugong Mountain, located in the northern section of the Luoxiao Mountains, straddles Hunan and Jiangxi provinces. Historically, it shared the same fame as Hengshan Mountain and Lushan Mountain, known as one of the Three Famous Mountains of Jiangnan. Its main peak, Jinding Baihe Peak, stands at 1,918.3 meters above sea level. It is a large-scale mountain scenic area integrating sightseeing, leisure, religious tourism, and science education. Wugong Mountain is renowned for its unique peaks, precipitous rocks, treacherous pines, vast grasses, soulful clouds, ethereal mists, turbulent waterfalls, secluded pools, unique caves, and rare birdlife. The alpine meadows within the area, the Red Rock Valley Waterfalls, and the ancient altars at the Golden Summit are particularly captivating, considered one of the three most breathtaking sights of Jiangnan. Above 1,500 meters above sea level, Wugong Mountain boasts a 500-kilometer-long Huangshan pine forest belt, designated a Huangshan pine provenance conservation area. Above 1,600 meters, 100,000 mu of alpine meadows extend across the region, the largest at its latitude in the world and known as "a unique Jiangnan wonder." At the same time, Wugong Mountain is also a famous religious mountain where Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism blend together.
It's worth the climb. The grasslands on the top are magnificent. You can also see the sea of clouds and mountain fog, which is very beautiful. The whole walk down (cable car up and down) takes most of the day, and staying overnight on the top of the mountain is also a unique experience. The facilities on the top of the mountain are quite complete, of course the conditions are a bit difficult, but when the starry sky lingers, it's all worth it. I can't help but sigh, the beautiful scenery of our motherland!
