On the last day in Mount Wutai, our tour guide Xiao Zhao took us to visit the temples in the central scenic area and told us many interesting stories, which brought our trip to Shanxi to a perfect end.
If you have faith, go to Mount Wutai. If you like taking photos, go to Mount Wutai. If you hike, you must climb to the Big Snail Peak. Climb the 1,008 steps to see all the other mountains. The mountain is in the clouds, the temple is in the mountain, and you are in the temple.

From a historical perspective, Yanmen Pass has served as a crucial hub for exchanges between the Central Plains and the nomadic ethnic groups of the north since the Spring and Autumn Period. It has witnessed countless wars and historical events, such as the story of the Yang Family Generals and the Journey to the Frontier by Concubine Zhaojun, making it a symbol of the Chinese national spirit. Its well-preserved city walls, fire towers, arrow towers, and other military installations, along with its rich historical relics, allow visitors to deeply experience the grandeur and splendor of ancient frontier defense culture.
Of the nine fortresses in the world, Yanmen Pass is the most important. China's first fortress!!! Entering from the North Gate parking lot, I paid 10 yuan for a round-trip ticket. Once I entered Mingyue Tower, I officially entered the fortress. It takes a lot of energy to climb all the way up the Great Wall! ⬆️ Feel the vicissitudes of ethnic integration and history!

The scenery of Xinzhou Ancient City is pleasant, especially the night view, which is both lively and warm and romantic. The food in the snack street is delicious. There are also various acrobatic performances in the scenic area. The most worthwhile check-in is the iron flower performance, which is simply shocking. The masters are all skilled and very professional, and the effect is great. We are in awe of the great heritage left by our ancestors. It is worth recommending to visit here for sightseeing!
Xinzhou Ancient City has the characteristics of Shanxi ancient city. It is well managed. It has both historical scenery and cultural landscape. The ancient city is clean and tidy. There is a scene at every step. It is suitable for leisure and relaxation. It is worth recommending

Let go of your worries this weekend and head to Luya Mountain ⛰️ to find your breath in the breeze. "Life is like the sea, like mountains and rivers, nothing more than that." I used to think this sentence was just literary, but one day, I received a "special gift" from fate and truly understood its significance. At that moment, I suddenly wanted to escape everything. I came to Luya Mountain, it was a paradise on earth! ☁️
It's not bad. The prices in the village are okay. I bought a wooden slingshot for 10 yuan and sat in the pavilion to enjoy the breeze. It was very cool. My daughter discovered a rainbow by the waterfall while climbing the mountain. It can be seen when there is sunshine, but it disappears when the clouds block the sunshine.

The Pianguan Laoniuwan Scenic Area is located at the junction of Shanxi Province and Inner Mongolia, with the Yellow River as the boundary. The Yellow River enters Shanxi from here, the inner and outer Great Walls meet here, and the Shanxi-Shaanxi-Inner Mongolia Grand Canyon starts here. The two major symbols of Chinese civilization finally embrace here. Standing on the bank of the Yellow River, you can take in the beauty of the mother river without any dross, and the scenery is natural.
One ticket can be used to visit two classic spots within 24 hours: Laoniu Bay and Qiankun Bay. Both classic spots have their own characteristics and are worth seeing. The only downside is that the road is a bit difficult to walk!
