The first tour guide mentioned that you had to buy a simulated 3D video experience of the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum. The second guide at the entrance was a complete jerk. Damn, he didn't have a microphone and went off track right after entering. I missed the front of Hall 1. The Lishan Bronze Chariot is quite good, and the singing and dancing figurines are even more vivid and artistic. The bronze chariot is exquisite.
During the National Day holiday, I took my children to visit the Terracotta Army Pits 1, 2, and 3 of the Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Army. The tour guide, Wang Desen, was knowledgeable, humorous, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. It was a very good experience.

Easy to book the tickets and quick access via the South gate. Great views
Don't wander around the Xi'an City Wall blindly; choose the right gate and explore the city to maximize your ticket price! Here are some practical tips even locals use. Choosing the right gate is crucial to avoid the crowds. For first-timers, prioritize the South Gate (Yongning Gate). Directly accessible via Metro Line 2, it offers a truly ceremonial atmosphere and a dazzling evening light show. However, during peak season, arrive early to avoid long lines. Food lovers should head directly to the West Gate (Anding Gate). Climb the city walls and cycle a few kilometers to the South Gate. Downstairs, you'll find Muslim Street, where you can enjoy mutton soup buns and roujiamo (Chinese roujiamo). For families with children or the elderly, Hanguang Gate is recommended, as it has an accessible elevator and allows you to visit the City Wall Ruins Museum. Cycling is the preferred activity; walking is too cumbersome. Hiking the entire 13.7-kilometer city wall would leave you exhausted, so renting a car is the best option. A single bike costs 45 yuan for three hours, and a double bike costs 90 yuan. You can borrow and return bikes at any of the nine locations, eliminating the need to return to your starting point. For beginners, we recommend the halfway route from West Gate to South Gate: 6 kilometers in 1.5 hours, perfect for catching the sunset. Please note that riders under 12 and over 65 are prohibited. Safety is paramount. Avoid pitfalls. There's virtually no shade on the city wall, so bring plenty of water and sunscreen in the summer. Riding in the morning and evening is most comfortable. Don't shop in the city walls; they're expensive and not very tasty. Instead, head down from Zhongshan Gate to Yongxingfang, and then to Jianguo Gate to the old vegetable market, where you'll find authentic Shaanxi cuisine. Buy your tickets the day before through the Shaanxi Cultural Tourism Benefit Mini Program for a 20% discount. Finally, remember that your ticket is valid for both entry and exit. If you need to use the restroom, head down to the city walls; don't try to find one. Follow this guide and you can experience the blend of ancient and modern scenery without being too tired to play!

It's great. The inn owner said that foreign tourists who stayed in the same hotel stayed for three consecutive nights and went into the mountains three times by different routes. The scenery is really worth it. Come back when it snows to enjoy the beautiful scenery in different seasons.
I specifically checked the weather and chose a rain-free day to climb the mountain. It was a classic west-up, north-down route, a low-energy route. We climbed all five peaks and were lucky enough to see the sea of clouds. We didn't try the Skywalk or the Harrier Flip. Mount Huashan is truly steep, like a knife or an axe, with many sections practically straight up and down. The cable car made it much easier, and the hike to all five peaks took only four hours. Prices on the mountain were also reasonable; a 28-yuan Americano was perfectly acceptable. The 420 yuan ticket may seem expensive, but it's a decent value compared to similar scenic spots in China.

There is not much difference in the performance style from other places, just the theme is different. This one tells the story of Yang Guifei. The light and shadow effects are good. The ticket price is a little higher. I won’t watch it again after watching it once.
Absolutely exquisite! The poignant love story of Yang Guifei and Emperor Minghuang of Tang is brought to life with breathtaking brilliance! The stage design is stunning, with dazzling lights, misty water, and a ethereal aura.

The Drum Tower of Xi'an is located in the center of Xi'an. It is a Ming Dynasty building that echoes the Bell Tower in the distance. It is one of the largest and best-preserved bell and drum towers left over from ancient China.
Since the Ming Dynasty, the Bell Tower has been a symbol of Xi'an for hundreds of years. It has also witnessed the rapid development of this ancient city. The Bell Tower has different aesthetics during the day and at night.

Tang Paradise: An Immersive Feast for a Timeless Tang Dynasty Experience For an immersive experience of the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty, Tang Paradise is a must-see on any trip to Xi'an. Designed according to the architectural style of Tang Dynasty imperial gardens, the Ziyun Tower boasts magnificent eaves and brackets. From the tower, you can overlook the entire waterscape, evoking a sense of imperial banquets. During the day, explore the Ladies' Hall to see an exhibition of Tang Dynasty costumes, and experience the culture of the imperial examinations in the Apricot Garden. At night, the "Dreaming of the Tang Dynasty" water curtain film and light show heightens the atmosphere. The shimmering water reflects the vibrant dance of feathered costumes, bringing the romance and prosperity of the Tang Dynasty to life before your very eyes. Although some areas require separate tickets and are often crowded on holidays, the meticulous restoration of Tang culture, from architectural details to cultural performances, is evident, making it an ideal place to experience the aesthetics and life of the era.
The Sheraton Xi'an North City Hotel was a great experience. The lobby is luxuriously decorated, and it's conveniently located right next to Metro Line 2 and a shopping mall. The front desk and room service were proactive and friendly, and housekeeping was extremely responsive. The breakfast was rich and varied, and the Chinese restaurant on the third floor offered delicious dishes, attentive service, and a complimentary fruit platter. The amenities were comprehensive, and the heated swimming pool was perfect for relaxing. I came here for National Day holiday and originally planned to stay for two days, but I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay for two more.

The Shaanxi History Museum in Xi'an is like a living history book. Spanning over 70,000 square meters, its Tang Dynasty-style architecture exudes a majestic grandeur. Upon entering, I was captivated by the bronze Fei Lian statue overhead. Warm yellow light shone on the slate-gray brick walls, casting a gentle veil over history. The glass cabinets in the exhibition hall resemble time capsules, housing over 370,000 artifacts. When the instructor explained that 18 national treasures were hidden here, my eyes were immediately drawn to the rusted bronze artifacts. A large tripod with Taotie patterns from the Shang and Zhou dynasties stood quietly, as if guarding a secret from thousands of years ago. The ancient human exhibits astonished me most. Clinging to the glass, I strained to identify the skull fossil of the Lantian Man—this Shaanxi native, 1.15 million years ago, could actually scrape animal skins with stone flakes! A nearby interactive model demonstrated how to make fire by drilling wood together, and the dancing flames reflected on the delighted faces of the children.
As an important cultural landmark at the starting point of the ancient Silk Road, the Shaanxi History Museum uses cultural relics to build a corridor of time and space, allowing visitors to touch the pulse of civilization of the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties among the blue bricks and gray tiles, and feel the profound accumulation of Chinese culture.

The large-scale real-life immersive experience is quite good. Even without makeup, it has a sense of time travel. The NPCs have a good sense of rhythm and are well-involved. It is not messy during the festival.
The performances were quite good. I recommend the Rainbow Feather Dance, the acrobatics, and the Yan Music. I loved playing games with the NPCs. Ning, Xuan, Wang, and many other girls and boys were super fun, perfect for adults. I played the Nine Links game with Xuanzang two or three times, and it got the master going crazy. 😂

Interactive performances such as tumbler dolls, flying celestial dances, and light and shadow shows featuring the arrival of nations are on display. From small street theater to large-scale stage shows, there's always room for surprises. Photogenic spots: For stunning photos, head to Kaiyuan Square and the Zhenguan Sculptures! Daytime photos create an elegant, ancient feel, while at night, when the lights come on, every snap creates a stunning Chang'an photoshoot, guaranteed to garner tons of likes on your social media feed. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
A must-see destination in Shaanxi, this free attraction offers a relaxing stroll along the Tang Dynasty City Pedestrian Street starting at 7:00 PM. Along the way, there are several exciting costume shows, which keep the atmosphere lively until late. Many beautiful tourists dress up in Hanfu and take photos. It's a truly memorable experience!

It's definitely worth a visit, and there are very few people. The museum and the Daming Palace documentary are great! I recommend going to the museum first, then buying a pass for the train and battery car, then taking the battery car to see the ruins, and then taking the train to walk around the park outside.
Daming Palace National Heritage Park is a world cultural heritage site. The scenery on the ground is nice and has a desolate beauty, but there are not many sights left. The museum introduction is still good.
