The Jin Temple Museum and Tianlongshan Scenic Area are located together, so you can buy separate tickets. If you're only going to the museum, I recommend parking in P3, which is less crowded and closer, but you won't be able to see all of Jin Temple Park. The entire park is beautiful, and the architecture of the museum is exquisite. I didn't expect it to be so crowded on a non-weekend holiday.
Outside the Jin Temple is a huge park that was built later and is completely free. Inside are historical buildings that require admission, which is well worth a visit. There are various historical and cultural buildings and ancient trees.

It holds profound significance, so as a Chinese, you should definitely visit. Yanmen Pass, formerly known as Gouzhu Mountain, boasts towering peaks and rugged terrain. It's a crucial pass on the Great Wall, known as "China's First Pass." There's a saying that "of the nine fortresses under heaven, Yanmen is the foremost." Standing atop the Yanmen Pass tower, gazing out into the distance, you can admire the rolling hills, the winding Great Wall, the narrow pass, and the breathtaking scenery of the frontier. Walking along the ancient Great Wall, viewing the military defense relics and sites, countless histories and legends resonate in your mind, leaving you filled with emotion. For thousands of years, Yanmen Pass has witnessed countless battles and wars. From the early Xiongnu, Xianbei, and Turks to the later Khitan, Jurchen, and Mongols, northern ethnic groups all battled against the Han dynasties at Yanmen Pass. Yanmen Pass forged the valiant and loyal spirits of many frontier defenders, including King Mu of Zhou, Li Mu, Meng Tian, Liu Bang, Wei Qing, Huo Qubing, Li Guang, Emperor Yang of Sui, Xue Rengui, and the Yang Family Generals. During the reign of Emperor Yuan of Han, when Wang Zhaojun crossed the border through Yanmen Pass's natural barrier and married the Xiongnu, Yanmen Pass became a thoroughfare for friendly exchanges within and beyond the borders. Arriving at Yanmen Pass's natural barrier and standing at the very gate where Wang Zhaojun left the border, one is struck by the depth of history and the magnificent beauty of nature, creating a unique sense of wonder.
The majestic Yanmen Pass, nestled amidst the vast mountain range, is truly breathtaking. A full hike would take about five hours. Like many scenic spots, the parking lot is far away, forcing you to take a frustrating shuttle bus.

Taiyuan Botanical Garden: "It's absolutely stunning! Especially in the evening, when the three domed greenhouses light up, they look like giant pearls scattered along the lakeside, their reflections reflected in the water. It's so dreamy and futuristic. It's definitely a new landmark in Taiyuan, and any photo you take is a blockbuster." "The building itself is a work of art, and its international awards are well-deserved. The flowing lines during the day and the dazzling lights at night are truly worth the experience." It's amazing, hahahaha
The Taiyuan Botanical Garden boasts a high-end, avant-garde design and is definitely worth a visit! Especially if you go at 4:30 PM to see the 5 PM acrobatic show, then see the three balls and fireflies, and finally take the elevator—it's a perfect arrangement! Perfect for families!

Baoquan Secret Land has beautiful scenery and pleasant views. It is worth the trip to the beautiful Henan. We also welcome friends from all over the country to visit here and experience the beautiful mountains and rivers of Zhuguo.
A 5A-rated scenic spot designated in December 2015, this two-day combined ticket for Grand Canyon and Cliff World offers the most densely populated waterfall complex in the Central Plains. Its unique topography, with pools every five steps and waterfalls every ten steps, creates a picturesque natural water system. Relax with river tracing and bamboo rafting, where you can remove your shoes while enjoying the refreshing waters. Cliff World offers easy access via the Luojia Cableway. Experience the thrill of high-altitude adventures: a glass rooftop and cliff suspension bridge offer panoramic views of the Red Cliffs, a spot featured on the cover of National Geographic.

People say that the rebuilt scenic area is not interesting, but I think the experience exceeded my expectations! The discounted ticket price is less than 100 yuan, including large-scale live performances, and it is a continuous performance of different categories. It is interesting to bring the elderly to watch, which is super good.
I didn't know about this place until I passed by and saw how busy it was, so I bought a three-day ticket. I only used it for a few hours, but it was worth it. The show was amazing. [The text then abruptly shifts topics.]

It's worth a visit to experience the richness of Chinese civilization. The bronze artifacts are exquisitely crafted and the ancients were wise and intelligent. I happened to catch a free tour, and the young lady explained it very clearly and thoroughly.
1. Worth a visit, especially for history buffs. 2. There are official guided tours, ranging from 200 yuan to 280 yuan per person, and each tour covers up to 20 people. A small family can book one, or several families can join for a better value. 3. There's a restaurant on site that caters to a wide range of tastes, and for a scenic spot, you can eat well. 4. There's also a VR Oracle Bone Script Adventure, which is quite entertaining and a favorite for children.

Huangcheng Xiangfu, a 5A-level scenic spot in Jincheng, Shanxi, boasts a rich cultural heritage and distinctive architecture. It was the residence of Chen Tingjing, and Emperor Kangxi stayed there twice. The ancient buildings are hailed as "the home of northern China's foremost cultural powerhouse." The scenic area offers wonderful performances, such as "Welcoming the Emperor" and "The Eight Sounds of the Prosperous Era," and also offers special travel photography services. However, there are some issues, such as high ticket prices, overcharging within the scenic area, and unclear guide signs. Overall, it's suitable for visitors interested in history and culture, but the scenic area's management and services need improvement.
The Imperial City Prime Minister's Mansion, the former residence of Chen Tingjing, the imperial tutor and worthy minister of the Qing Dynasty, is a grand manor with distinctive Shanxi residential characteristics. The entire scenic area boasts meticulously arranged courtyards and a simple and elegant style, particularly the corridors, terraces, and pavilions, which embody the uniquely charming Shanxi cave-dwelling architectural style.

#So close, so beautiful! Weekend trip to Hebei# I visited Shijiazhuang in May and had the opportunity to see the large-scale live-action performance "The Assassination of Qin Shi Huang" in Longquan Ancient Town. It was truly breathtaking! The actors were completely engaged, professional, and dedicated! The well-trained war horses were majestic, and the scenes of swordplay and sabers gleamed like a true journey back to the Warring States Period. Witnessing the thrilling historical moment of Jing Ke's assassination of Qin Shi Huang firsthand! Highly recommended for families! Longquan Ancient Town is a must-see!
Longquan Ancient Town: An In-Depth Experience Report on the Drama Fantasy City I. Immersive Theatrical Experience: An Audiovisual Feast Weaving Past and Present "The Last Stand": Based on the story of Han Xin in the early Han Dynasty, the show adds elements of flying armor and a golden dragon horse. The battlefield scenes are recreated through a 5D sound and light system, allowing the audience to feel the thrill of galloping war horses. 12 "Fantasy Li Bai": Holographic projection technology allows the immortal poet to "walk through walls." Combined with an HDR lighting system, the heroic spirit of "Song of the Wine" is vividly portrayed. 34 Interactive Performance: Visitors can participate in the plot of "Zhengtai Railway," becoming engineers from the Republic of China to decipher railway blueprints. The immersive experience has received five-star reviews from families. 25 II. Ancient Town Features and Supporting Services Architectural Features: Over 900 Ming and Qing dynasty residences have been reconstructed, and the Baochai Tower stage is the largest outdoor ancient stage in North China. At night, illuminated by lights, it resembles a long ink painting scroll. 14 Dining Experience: Specialty snacks like Shanghai shengjian (a type of fried dumpling) are available for 30 yuan per person. Hanfu-style teahouses are located along the Yingyue River, where you can enjoy tea while watching the parade of wupeng boats. 67 Amenities: Three surface parking lots (Parking Lot 1 is 680 meters from the scenic area). Wheelchair rentals and multilingual guides are available at the visitor center. 67 III. Value for Money and Visitor Feedback Ticket Value: A 78 yuan all-inclusive ticket includes access to several major performances and dozens of smaller performances, significantly outperforming similar attractions (such as Zhengzhou's "Only Henan" starting at 290 yuan). 38 Real Reviews: 4.3 points on Ctrip (1035 reviews). Families praised the "safety for children to run around and the cultural experience to be enjoyable." Some suggested improved parking guidance during peak season. 79 IV. Night Tour Highlights Recommended Summer Night Tour Route (until 10:30 PM): 6:30 PM Folk Lion Dance Performance → 7:15 PM "The Emperor and the Assassin" Live-Action Drama → 8:00 PM Yingyue River Light Show → 9:00 PM Hanfu Parade, Ending at Wonton Shop for a Late-Night Snack (511). Summary: For a 78 RMB ticket, you can "travel through thousands of years"—suitable for history enthusiasts, families, and photographers. For a better experience, avoid peak weekends.

The ticket price is not cheap, but it is quite interesting. There are tours down and up the well, and the explanation fee is purchased separately. The staff is very good. Because I needed to go down the well in advance because I was in a hurry, the staff helped to arrange it, which was very heartwarming.
The exhibition hall on the third floor is relatively simple, with a popular science nature and is quite standard. The underground simulated coal mine is simply amazing. It feels very realistic, dark and narrow, and there are simulated mining equipment. It is a very novel experience. You can even wear a miner's hat with a light!

I'm absolutely blown away by the Datong Museum! First, you can see many of the exhibits up close. Second, stamp admission is free. Third, the collection is so rich, and there are high-quality special and temporary exhibitions. I'd walk all the way to see them all! You can visit in the order of Northern Wei Pingcheng, Liao and Jin's secondary capital, and Ming and Qing Dynasty's important city. The first floor houses dinosaur fossils, and the basement is currently only open to the restaurant. Coming to Datong is like stepping into a Buddhist world, with a dazzling array of Buddha statues. From the exquisitely carved roof tiles and tubular tiles to the magnificent jewelry and exquisite and intricate household items, it's as if you've glimpsed the prosperity of the Northern Wei capital.
The Datong Museum is incredibly popular. Appointments must be made at midnight, and entry is divided into time slots. Even then, there were lines stretching over a hundred meters. After a twenty-minute wait for entry, we headed straight to the second-floor Northern Wei exhibition hall, the highlight of the event. Datong, formerly known as Pingcheng, served as the capital of the Northern Wei Dynasty for 97 years. Through the development and management of six emperors and seven generations, it became a metropolis with a population exceeding one million, bustling with merchants and envoys, and a vibrant mix of Han and Western cultures. The exhibits naturally reflect this, with many artifacts incorporating Western influences. For example, the striking blue glass vase is a representative example of local production using blown glass techniques introduced along the Silk Road. The exquisiteness of the golden flying headdress is so stunning that it's hard to believe it reflects craftsmanship and aesthetics dating back seven hundred years. It's truly unique and well worth the visit.
