The Yungang Grottoes Scenic Area is very comfortable and grand. Outside the gate of the scenic area is a sculpture of Monk Tan Yao, which is very well carved. Enter the gate, and there are some Buddhist allusions around. A large hall, pavilions and towers were built on the water. Some statues carved with camphor wood inside are very simple and ancient. Although they are imitations, they are very solemn and simple, and the imitation is also very good.
After that, everyone can enjoy the surrounding scenery along the way, and they came to the grottoes before they knew it. I came to the Yungang Grottoes more than 20 years ago. At that time, the wind and sand were particularly serious, and there were large coal trucks passing by around. Now it is very beautiful, and there is no feeling of rolling sand and dust in the past.
There are several caves, which are wrapped with some antique buildings. A visitor can also go inside, and it is not too sunny. It also plays a role in protecting the caves. Each cave is very exquisite, and the tour guide is also very dedicated and explains very carefully. There are 18 caves. It takes at least more than an hour to look at them carefully.
After visiting the 18 caves, there is a sightseeing bus for 10 yuan per person. If the weather is good, you can take a walk out of the scenic area. The surrounding environment is good, just like a park. The benches, ticket offices, cultural and creative service stores and toilets are all very beautifully built and very integrated with the scenic area.
