I took the train from Xi'an Station to Lintong. Getting off at Lintong and using Didi (a ride-hailing app) was very convenient. I had read a lot about the Terracotta Warriors on other websites beforehand, so I didn't hire a guide. I just listened in on the site, and I was quite engrossed. I arrived at noon, and there were still many people, especially foreigners. The persimmon groves along the way were beautiful…
This place is a must visit in Xi'an. We went to the Terracotta Warriors first. For first timers: just line up and let them scan your passport and you can walk through. You can also buy a shuttle bus ticket for 5 Yuan to drive up to the mausoleum site. There's a ticket office on the left side and you can buy it with WeChat. After that, just walk to the busses. For the pick-up after the visit, you can walk from the exit to 'Shede Xianglazhi Chinese Hamburger'. The red ticket house will be on the same side right in front of the Hamburger Store! (Just follow the red pin point). The shuttle bus will take you directly from there to Huaqing Palace. Before entering the Palace, you need to present the trip.com ticket to the ticket office there and they will give you a paper ticket. All in all, it was a full-day tour and so beautiful. During off-season there are no waiting lines at all!

This is my second visit to the Longmen Grottoes. Every line in the grottoes is poetic and picturesque, showcasing the extraordinary wisdom and charm of ancient art. I personally enjoy the feeling of gazing into the eyes of the Buddha statues.
A cultural treasure, the Longmen Grottoes are definitely worth a visit! Many thanks to our guide, Ms. Liangliang, for her wonderful explanations throughout the afternoon, which brought the entire grottoes, spanning thousands of years, to life before our eyes.

Everything went very smoothly. Going north and going west was the right choice. The cable car came down at 9:00 AM and the West Mountain cable car came down at 1:30 PM. Except for the trekking pole tip getting stuck in a crevice of the wooden boardwalk and losing it, everything else went smoothly.
Mount Hua isn't the highest of the Five Sacred Mountains, but it's arguably the most precipitous. There's only one path up Mount Hua since ancient times, and the Thousand-Foot Cliff, Hundred-Foot Gorge, Azure Dragon Ridge, and Cloud Ladder are quite challenging. As someone with a fear of heights, I didn't dare try the Plank Road in the Sky or the Hawk's Turn. Route: The classic "Northward Hiking + Westward Cable Car." The hike up the North Peak offers a sense of danger, while the West Peak cable car offers a beautiful view. The route is: Yuquan Temple → North Peak → Central Peak → East Peak → South Peak → West Peak. The section from Yuquan Temple to the North Peak is the most difficult, especially the Thousand-Foot Cliff and Hundred-Foot Gorge, which are steep and narrow, taking two and a half hours. The section from the North Peak to the Central Peak is the next most difficult, taking a little over an hour. The remaining East, South, and West Peaks are relatively easier. Clothing: "Quick-drying underwear + windproof jacket and sweatpants + sneakers + sunglasses + hat" is sufficient. The weather has been particularly good these past few days; although it's windy at the summit, it's not cold. Supplies: Don't bring too much food. Some beef jerky, chocolate, and sausages are enough; you won't have much of an appetite after climbing. Water is very important. I drank one bottle of water and four bottles of energy drinks throughout the trip. I brought three bottles with me. When I was close to the North Peak, I bought a bottle of Gatorade for 15 yuan (the shopkeeper said the price would go up after the North Peak). When I was close to the South Peak, I bought a bottle of Scream for 17 yuan (the price had gone up by 2 yuan, which was acceptable). There are many supply points along the way, so just travel as light as possible.

The large-scale sound, light and electricity outdoor situational performance tells the story of the prosperous Tang Dynasty and the love story of Yang Guifei. The scene layout is full of technology. The night sky and the moon are displayed very realistically against the backdrop of Mount Li. The actors dance perfectly, and the lingering love is full of love. The fighting on the battlefield and the flames rising into the sky are very immersive, and the scene at that time is truly reproduced. It is very worth watching and it is also the best large-scale performance I have ever seen.
Great show.. with a good lighting.. excellent performance with lots of coordination… highly recommended to watch.. take vip seat B which is great view

I visited Hukou Waterfall at the end of October and had a fantastic experience, especially the Shanxi side, where the scenery was even more spectacular and the area was much larger. The scenic area is very concentrated, and you can see everything in about half an hour to an hour. There weren't many tourists, so I could fully enjoy the beautiful scenery and take photos.
After all, it's the Yellow River, the mother river of China. Even though it was National Day and quite crowded, and it was drizzling that day, and the mighty Yellow River left many mud splatters on my feet, it's still a place everyone should see at least once in their life.

The beauty of Jinci lies in its mountains, trees, and water. I finally experienced the Holy Mother Hall, Nanlao Spring, ancient cypress trees, and Tang Dynasty locust trees described in the junior high school textbook "Jinci". At the same time, as a native of Baoji, Shaanxi, I paid homage to Duke Ji Yu of Jin: Your family from the old home has come to see you.
Aside from the crowds, there are no other problems. It has a classic and antique feel, and the shops inside are very bustling, with everything you need for eating, drinking, and entertainment. Some local specialties are worth buying. The overall planning of the scenic area is also good, with both a sense of traditional history and a modern atmosphere. It's worth a visit.

Pingyao Ancient City is definitely worth visiting at least once in your life ❤️ While it shares many similarities with other ancient cities in terms of commerce—expensive restaurants, photo opportunities, bars, guesthouses, etc.—Pingyao Ancient City is a living ancient city. The [County Government Office] is well-preserved and once served as the county government compound; you can witness the financial pioneers at [Rishengchang]; the [Confucian Temple] and [City God Temple] are not only places of worship but also embody the spirit of Shanxi merchants. The Confucian Temple boasts the oldest existing Confucian temple building in China: its Dacheng Hall, built in the Jin Dynasty (1163), is older than the existing buildings of the Confucius Temple in Qufu, making it a true architectural gem with extremely high historical value. It is a complete example of "temple and school in one": it was not only a place to worship Confucius but also the official school (county school) of ancient Pingyao. You can see the complete ancient educational system from the "temple" for worship to the "school" for teaching; such a well-preserved layout is very rare. [Huiwu Martial Arts] comprehensively and systematically showcases the essence of Chinese martial arts. Finally, I highly recommend "Encounter Pingyao".
I looked up Shuanglin Temple online and thought it was worth a visit. It was indeed breathtaking. I've never seen painted sculptures anywhere else, especially the "Number One Weituo in the World," which was incredibly lifelike and imposing.

It's very convenient to use; just scan the code to enter the attraction. We encountered construction and had to climb a mountain path, which added to the scenic atmosphere! The hanging sculptures inside the hall are magnificent and awe-inspiring; I'm amazed by the wisdom of our ancestors! A truly worthwhile trip!
The scenery is beautiful and the climate is pleasant. The suspended sculptures in the Mahavira Hall are stunning. Even after hundreds of years, the colors are still vibrant. The Buddha statues are diverse in form and style, combining Chinese and Western elements, which perfectly showcases the wisdom and exquisite craftsmanship of the Chinese people!

Anyone buying Ctrip tickets should take note: you need to take two screenshots here. There are two QR codes in total: one for the scenic spot entrance ticket and one for the scenic spot transportation ticket. First, scan the transportation ticket at the Shaanxi side of Hukou Waterfall, take the bus to the scenic spot entrance, and then scan the ticket to enter the scenic spot! Remember! Be sure to take two screenshots! The ticket purchasing and usage process is very reliable and convenient!
We've been to northern Shaanxi! I think it's a great place! The water at the Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River is so turbulent! It's like a thousand horses galloping! It's so impressive! It was worth the trip! My whole family is very happy! I highly recommend it!

It is worth a visit, but the ticket is a bit expensive. You can mainly see the ancient buildings and layout, as well as the history of Qiao Family Compound. The Qiao family had glorious moments, and their descendants are also very promising!
The Qiao Family Compound, located in Qi County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, is famous for the film "Raise the Red Lantern" and the TV series "Qiao Family Compound." It boasts four main halls, exemplified by Qiao Zhiyong's "Zhongzhong Hall," a residence typical of wealthy merchants in Jinzhong during the Ming and Qing dynasties. While the complex boasts a modest number of rooms, it boasts a stately and imposing atmosphere, featuring wood, brick, and stone carvings, carved beams, and painted rafters, all of which are rich in artistic value. Each main room features plaques and couplets reflecting the Qiao family's personal beliefs and principles of household governance. A drawback: The site's descriptions of each room are insufficiently detailed.
