Furong Town is famous for a film starring Liu Xiaoqing, so a visit here is a must-do on any trip to Xiangxi, especially since it's relatively close to other attractions. Tickets are a bit pricey, but if you have the time to catch every performance, it's worth it. We visited after National Day, so the crowds weren't that busy, perfect for savoring Furong Town's tranquility and beauty. It was especially beautiful at night, illuminated by the lights. Ctrip didn't offer discounted tickets for three people, but they did for two, so we bought a two-plus-one ticket, which was a better deal. No reservations are required, and tickets can be purchased at any time during the off-season. You can enter and exit as many times as you want, which is a great bonus.
After a long journey today, before the rain arrived, I visited Furong Town, formerly known as "Wang Village," an ancient town with over 2,000 years of history. This is the second stop on my three-stop plan for Xiangxi this year, following Fenghuang Ancient Town.
Furong Town has been a Tujia settlement since ancient times. Historically, it was the founding capital of the Xizhou Tusi Dynasty, carrying the glorious history of the Tujia Tusi system for 818 years.
I started taking photos before dark and snapped over 300 photos. I visited the Tujia cave dwelling ruins, the Tuwang Palace, and the Tuwang Bridge, and watched performances at Baishou Hall and the Yinan Theater.
It's already raining, so will the waterfall be even more powerful tomorrow?

Although rafting is not exciting and is relatively gentle, the scenery along the coast is absolutely first-class. The boatman took us through several waterfalls and went swimming in the river. The water was particularly clean. I highly recommend it!
Rafting in the mountains is not very exciting, but the river water is clear, clean and cool, the riverside scenery is charming, and you can also float in the water in the gentle area. The only thing to note is that girls should not wear shorts, otherwise they will get sunburned! It's really fun
