Pingtan Island is the blue tears dream island of Fujian!
As the closest place to Taiwan from the mainland, it has both the same ring road as Kenting and the unique stone house fishing village.
From April to August, the beach will flash blue fluorescence at night, like stepping on the starry sky, so beautiful that it makes people scream!
The colorful stone houses in Beigang Village are super photogenic, the Changjiangao windmill field is amazing for taking sunset photos, and the trailing beach in Xiangbi Bay looks like an elephant drinking water from aerial photography.
You can play around the island by renting an electric car. The glass plank road in the northern ecological corridor hangs over the sea, which is exciting and film-making.
The seafood is so cheap that you can cry. You can eat Pingtan snacks such as good luck (Xianmishi) and forever (fried dumplings) elsewhere.
It is recommended to avoid the peak season in July and August, otherwise the price of the homestay will double and you can't book it.
