If you want to go to Shanxi, you must go to the Jin Temple Museum. The three treasures, three wonders and three plaques inside are very worth checking in and learning. The Jin Temple is so huge. The Jin Temple Park alone is very large, and the Jin Temple Museum also has many attractions. Wansuishan Wuxia City is an incredible value! For 80 yuan, you can enjoy three full days, averaging just over 20 yuan a day. It's a steal! Plus, you get to watch over 3,000 performances over three days, from daytime horse battles and martial arts to evening iron flower displays. It's simply overwhelming. The NPCs call everyone "Hero" and interact with them, making for a fun and engaging experience. However, it can get crowded on holidays, so get there early to get a good spot!
Located on the ruins of Mount Genyue in Kaifeng during the Northern Song Dynasty, Wansuishan Wuxia City, steeped in martial arts culture and steeped in Song Dynasty charm, is a prime example of immersive cultural tourism. It's a great attraction, with a large area and many performances. If you want to see all the performances relatively leisurely, you need three days. One day is simply not enough to see them all. You must make a good plan. There are 21 theaters of various sizes. Research the time of each performance in advance. We saw 8 performances from morning to night, which basically left no time for leisurely strolling.
It's great, it's very good. Go see any show you want, don't try to fill it up with a travel guide! Because I didn't follow my own plan at all, and it was hard to find the way. I suggest you use the navigation to find the theater, because at first I didn't use the map and couldn't find it at all.

Taiyuan Botanical Garden, a beloved hideaway for artistic youth, boasts a 90,000-square-meter botanical kingdom, making any casual photo opportunity feel like being transported to the Wizard of Oz. The gardens boast a tropical rain shower, a psammophyte pavilion, a seasonal flower pavilion, and an insect collection—it's incredibly large. But it seems people aren't there to see the plants; they're mainly there to see the internet-famous starry sky elevator. Many people visit the botanical garden specifically for this iconic ride. We visited at the end of August, but it was still packed, with long lines forming. The night view is truly stunning, romantic, and dreamy.

I finally made it to Yinji Animal Park, a long-awaited destination. I arrived a little after 10:00 AM, but the shuttle was gone, so I couldn't make another reservation. It was incredibly crowded during National Day, and the lines for each show were long. I rode the amphibious vehicle and visited the Chief's House, but only got to enjoy half of it. The show in the central square started a little after 7:00 PM, and the park closed a little after 8:00 PM. I'll definitely come back when it's less crowded!

The Luoyang Museum was incredibly popular! We arrived at the entrance at 9:00 AM and started queuing, but we finally entered at around 10:30 AM, a half-hour late. The instructor was very considerate and gave us extra time. The instructor's explanations were thorough, citing historical texts and classics, and I could tell you he had a wealth of historical knowledge. By visiting several exhibition halls, I was able to connect thousands of years of Luoyang's history, which was a very rewarding experience. The Luoyang Museum has many treasures, but the white jade cup made the most impression; the quality is beyond photographic capture! Besides the crowds and the long lines for the restrooms, the experience was a bit disappointing. The Luoyang Museum is excellent in every way, and I'd definitely come back if I had the chance.
