On the fifth day of the National Day holiday, my family and I experienced "Only Henan Drama Fantasy City," an immersive cultural tourism project in Zhongmou County, Zhengzhou, Henan, which was highly recommended by a colleague. From 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, we spent 12 hours watching one of the main shows, the Fantasy City Theater, and six smaller theaters. Overall, the themes, creative ideas, performances, on-site organization, light show, volunteer services, and food and beverage breaks were all well-planned. It was a high-quality theater experience, and I gained a deeper understanding of my hometown, Henan, and it was a very rewarding experience. To enhance the theater experience for everyone in the future, we have two suggestions for improvement: First, due to the high number of visitors during the National Day holiday, queues for nearly an hour were required for almost every show. For some shows, such as Red Temple School and Red Face, queues lasted for over two hours due to limited theater capacity, which significantly impacted the visitor experience. We suggest increasing theater capacity during holidays or scheduling two shifts of actors to perform shows with long wait times to improve turnaround time. Secondly, the theater is a crowded place, but there are almost no emergency exit lights or emergency evacuation indicators. Before each performance, there are no reminders or emphasis on emergency exits or how to evacuate in an emergency. If an abnormal situation occurs, it will seriously affect the evacuation effect and even cause a stampede. We strongly recommend that the location of emergency exits (lighting instructions) and emergency evacuation requirements be emphasized before the show, just as the theater's order is emphasized, to ensure safety! I hope "Only Henan Drama Fantasy City" will continue to improve, and I hope my hometown Henan will become better and better!
