a must visit place in zhangjiajie,avoid peak season for bailong lift ride,our bailong lift ride was a one hour wait for a 66sec ride n we came at the supposed non peak period lol. all photo spots around the mountain are worth stopping by,fantastic view.alot of walking n climbing up stairs so wear appropriately.
A must visit place in Zhangjiajie. Elevator+ cable car ticket is very convenient. If you arrive earlier than your time slot you can easily reschedule at the entrance and enter early.

Wear comfortable shoes, as you'll be climbing stairs and walking a lot.
It's best to enter as soon as the park opens, when it's less crowded.

As one of the four famous towers, the ancient-style building is magnificent. Climbing to the top offers a bird's-eye view of Wuhan, with beautiful scenery. The poems and murals inside the tower showcase a long history. It is a must-see historical site when visiting Hubei.

The Hubei Provincial Museum houses over 240,000 artifacts, including nearly 1,000 pieces of national first-class cultural relics. As of February 2023, it occupies a total land area of 85,000 square meters and a total building area of 114,000 square meters, of which 36,000 square meters are exhibition space. The museum is laid out as a south and north building, with two independent east and west exhibition halls. Among its artifacts are the Zeng Hou Yi chime bells, the Sword of Goujian, King of Yue, and the Tiger-shaped Drum Stand.
Our tour guide, Chen Yao, was very professional. She provided detailed explanations of the museum's treasures and arranged the route reasonably. With so many visitors today, she saved us a lot of time.

A truly remarkable tourist attraction.
As I entered the park, it was drizzling. Yueyang Tower stood majestically on the shore of Dongting Lake, shrouded in mist and rain. I felt a sense of poetic beauty that transcended time. The ancient sage Fan Zhongyan's "not elated by external gains, nor saddened by personal losses" was just like this enlightenment that entered my heart and soul. I am an old man, still able to eat, with gray hairs already appearing, yet I still have to pay an entrance fee. I wonder if Lu Su, Li Bai, Du Fu, Meng Haoran, Fan Zhongyan, Teng Zijing, and Lü Dongbin were blocked by walls and charged admission back then.

Located by the river, there's a small park downstairs with trampolines and slides for kids. Parking is free and quite convenient. The latex mattress is very comfortable, and the environment is quite nice.
Of course, a visit to the Three Gorges Dam is a must for a national monument. My self-driving trip took just over three hours, and I wasn't pressed for time. The route was pretty good, but you had to get off at each stop and go to the transfer center to get to the next one. You couldn't skip any you didn't want to see, which was a bit inconvenient. The best parking spot is P1, which is closest to the visitor center.

The story of entrusting an orphan to Baidi City has been passed down through the ages, and the Yanhuidui in Kuimen, Qutang Gorge of the Yangtze River is also well-known. With its natural scenery, cultural history, spectacular views, and wonderful exhibitions, it is one of the most worthwhile attractions in Fengjie. There is a direct bus from the high-speed rail station to the scenic area gate. After crossing the river, some scenic spots are connected to the top of the Three Gorges, which can be visited together.
The scenery was beautiful, but the weather wasn't ideal, with wind and rain. It started raining and blowing as soon as we entered the area. Since we were traveling light, we had to go back to the car to get an umbrella, tell the staff. The area is worth a visit, but the signage isn't very clear. For example, the boat ride directions are listed on the ticket, but there's no signage or explanation inside the area, which isn't very convenient for individual tourists, especially the elderly, unless they can understand the map.

The views are astonishing I've never seen anything like this in my life. It has a lot of activities. The path after the first dock I recommend to do it.

The trip to the Gezhouba Dam and the Xiling Gorge is definitely worth experiencing. I witnessed the rising water levels at the Gezhouba Dam, the beautiful scenery along the banks of the Xiling Gorge, and the grandeur of the Three Gorges Dam blending seamlessly with the vastness of nature! Thanks to our guide, Wu Qiong, for leading the itinerary; the planning was excellent, and the explanations were engaging!
The independent travel itinerary was very flexible. Although it was quite far from the Three Gorges Dam, we were able to visit the beautiful Xiling Gorge, making up for the shortcomings of a cruise trip through the Three Gorges. We also got to pass through the Gezhouba Dam lock – fantastic!

There were too many people during the National Day holiday, and the sightseeing bus had to wait for a long time, which made the time a bit rushed. The scenery of Luoyan Island is very beautiful, the tickets are not expensive, and the children's playground is also suitable for children. It is no problem to stay there for a whole day on a leisurely weekend.
Donghu Lake is divided into many scenic areas, where you can ride a bicycle or take a sightseeing bus. The scenery is very pleasant, but the number of sightseeing buses is in short supply during holidays, so you have to wait for a long time. Moreover, pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles are all on the same road, so safety needs to be improved!
