It's a very photogenic place, but it's not very big. You can finish the tour in a short while, and two hours is enough to watch the show. There weren't many tourists, and the two museums were excellent, highly recommended. The ruins park only has some rammed earth platforms left, so it's worth a quick tour. If you're going to visit the ruins park, you absolutely have to buy a tour bus; it's so large you'll either tire yourself out or get sunburned. I recommend standing on the Hanyuan Temple ruins to experience the world's center, roughly 1,300 to 1,000 years ago, right under your feet. It feels like a dialogue between time and space!
The overall feeling is one of amazement and regret. Our great China was once so magnificent. One can imagine the scene of all nations coming to pay tribute. After the war, only devastation is left. What a sight it would be if it had remained to this day!

The Qutang Gorge is beautiful! The boat trip was great, but Baidi Island was a bit of a filler. It was boring and newly built, just for show. After a long climb, I was speechless. The Three Gorges are truly beautiful, and the wonders of nature are always captivating! The only thing that's lost is the dam, which made the water so calm and still. It's a bit of a loss of the gorge's soul.
Personally, I think the entrance fee to the scenic spot is too high and the playability is relatively low. I suggest that friends who go there should have a tour guide to explain, otherwise it will be boring to wander around by yourself! Those who like history can go there. I am obsessed with Li Bai's poems, so I went there 🤣🤣

The elevators inside the scenic area are a rip-off, costing 30 yuan for three small elevators. The five elevators in the Three Gorges Dam are all free. The performance square was very crowded, so I only watched from the outside platform. Longjin Creek is a great place to play in the water, refreshing and cooling. Bring your own slippers if you want to play in the water; slippers inside are 30 yuan a pair.

The hotel is easy to find, right next to Wuyue Plaza. It's quite new. I booked a family room, which was spacious and gave me a good night's sleep. The breakfast was a little simple, though; a little more variety would have been appreciated. Overall, it was quite good.
I thought they were Ctrip's tour guides, looking for flags at the visitor center, but they turned out to be official museum staff. The Xi'an Museum and the Shaanxi History Museum have a lot of overlap, and I visited both venues. They saw the same things, like gold cakes, golden dragons, and terracotta figurines buried with Zhu Yuanzhang's fourth-generation grandson. I felt the explanations here were more detailed. I especially enjoyed Professor Li's introduction to the current value of various cultural relics; it was very unique.
