Lion Monument

SUNSHINE ONUS
The dying lion is a famous monument in the Swiss city of Lucerne, a sculpture depicting a seriously wounded lion with a broken spear in the ribs and painfully strung to the ground. The lion's right paw is on a shield engraved with lilies from the French royal family, and the other shield has a Swiss cross. The sculpture is engraved with the Latin "HELVETIORUM FIDEI AC VIRTUTI" meaning "to the loyal and brave Swiss". Below is a list of the officers killed and surviving, as well as the number of soldiers killed and surviving.

Chapel Bridge

SUNSHINE ONUS
The Capel Covered Bridge is one of the landmarks of Lucerne, Switzerland and one of the oldest wooden bridges in the world. It is a wooden covered bridge, 204 meters long and about 2 meters wide. The bridge is in a folded line with a turning point in the middle, which connects the Lucerne Octagon Water Tower. The interior of the bridge is unique, with 110 triangular painted wooden boards hanging from the top depicting the history, myths and saints of Lucerne. These painted boards are works from the 17th and 18th centuries and have high artistic value.

Jungfrau

The Jungfrau region is the stuff of alpine dreams—snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and postcard-perfect villages. Taking the train to Jungfraujoch, the “Top of Europe,” is an unforgettable ride through tunnels and ice. At the summit, you’re met with stunning views, an ice palace, and that unbeatable feeling of being on top of the world. Whether you’re skiing, hiking, or just soaking in the high-altitude beauty, Jungfrau is a breathtaking slice of Switzerland.

Old Town

旅の径
Lucerne, Switzerland's top 5 tourist city, has a sparkling, blue and blue sky, a lush mountain, and the peaks. The city north of Lake Lucerne and the Royce River, known as the old town of Lucerne, must slow down and leisurely stroll around. Walk on the shore of Lake Lucerne, take a picture of the Capel Covered Bridge, climb the Museg Wall, visit the Church of St. Leod Gal, check in at the Lion Monument... everything is on foot.

Lake Lucerne

Lake Lucerne is really good, when the weather is good, you can see the snowy mountains. Unfortunately, we stayed for three days, and the weather was good when we arrived in the evening on the first day, and we haven't cherished it yet. The buildings by the lake, the Ferris wheel, and the Huaqiao Water Tower make people's eyes simply can't see it. The boat ride to Weggis is even more beautiful.

Mount Pilatus

It is recommended to take the Golden Circle Line. You can experience different transportation without going back, including cruise ship-gear train-cable car-train. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. There are many outdoor activities on the mountain, which is very interesting.

I feel that the scenery in Switzerland is very weather-dependent. When the weather is good, it is absolutely beautiful! When the weather is bad and the fog is heavy, you can't see anything clearly. We went there on a rainy day. When we first arrived at the mountain, we could still see some scenery, but after a while, the fog came and we couldn't see anything. There are many ways to go to Mount Rigi. You can take the volcano to the mountain train, or the boat to the mountain train. When going down the mountain, you can change the train to the cable car and then take the boat. If you come out from Lucerne, the transportation connection is good, and it takes two hours one way. With a Swiss pass, you don't have to spend money on transportation throughout the whole journey. By the way, there are stones transported from Mount Emei on Mount Rigi, you can check it out.
