Hawai'i

The average summer temperature which runs from May to October is a blissful 29.4°C, with over 11 hours of sunshine a day.There are six major islands to visit: Kaua'i, Oahu, Molokai, Lāna, Maui, and the island of Hawai'i. It’s also known as the ‘Big Island’, as it is twice as large as all the other islands combined.

Most overseas arrivals land in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu. It’s the third largest island and home to the majority of Hawaii’s diverse population. Antalya, Turkey

Located on the southwest coast, Antalya is the largest Turkish city along the Mediterranean. The popular resort town has average summer temperatures between 25°C and 30°C, with gorgeous sea-side resorts and endless historical attractions.

One of the city’s most iconic attractions is Hadrian’s Gate, located at the entrance of the old Town, Kaleiçi. The landmark was built in 130AD to commemorate the visit of the Emperor; an absolute must see for history buffs.

The Düden Waterfalls are another popular attraction. The falls are made up of two sets of falls that are just a few kilometres away from each other. The Karpuzkaldiran Waterfall, set between Antalya and Lara, cascades into the Mediterranean and is the more popular of the two.

After sightseeing, or if you want to skip it altogether, head to Lara Beach. Gorgeous fine sand and clear water make this one of the most popular beaches in region. There are plenty of water sports to choose from, alongside 5-star resorts, restaurants and nightclubs. The West side of the beach is public- simply hire an umbrella or lay out a towel and bask in the sunshine.

Getting there: Travelling to Antalya is a breeze, whether you connect from Asia with Turkish Airlines or fly via Doha with Qatar Airways. Depending on the route, average flying time is between 20 and 25 hours.
