I was very lucky to get the car I selected, not a comparable model. I picked it up from the parking lot myself, and staff were unable to accompany me for the vehicle inspection. I was required to take photos and videos of all its functions and appearance for documentation. Upon starting the car, I discovered it was a mild hybrid, fuel-efficient, easy to drive, and spacious. The interior was clean enough, but the exterior had some dirt on the front bumper and yellow mud and sand around the fuel filler cap, which I needed to clean before returning. The return location wasn't at the rental company indicated in the system, but at a group drop-off point in another building. After searching for a while, I discovered it was a group drop-off for multiple rental companies. A third-party representative, working with all the rental companies, collected the cars and told me to leave the keys inside. No one was there to inspect the car, so I was required to take photos and videos of all its functions and appearance for documentation. After returning the car, I went to the service counter of the rental company indicated in the system to inform the staff of my return and request an invoice.

Everything went perfectly overall. The only drawback was that the return station in Cologne was quite far from the city center, so I had to take an Uber back — a bit inconvenient and unnecessary extra cost. Apart from that, everything else was excellent.
