We used the service with a Korean family of 7. It appears the company is Chinese, so most of the communication was conducted in English. We used the Grok app for rough translation, so there were no issues. The company contacted us via KakaoTalk about 3 days before the reservation, making communication convenient. On the day of the reservation, I expected to take a shuttle to the company, but they offered airport pickup, so we proceeded with that. They stated that parking fees would be refunded upon return on the last day, and since less than an hour had passed, the fee was 0 won. The condition of the vehicle was excellent. It smelled like a new car, and the interior was very clean. Although it is an 8-seater, it would likely be difficult for 8 adults, but it would probably be possible for 3 children and 5 adults. We used it with 6 adults and 1 child, and it was a bit uncomfortable. It was convenient that they dropped us off directly at the airport via shuttle after we returned the vehicle. The navigation system connects via Bluetooth without cables using CarPlay or Android, and a phone holder is included as standard. Renting a Japanese ETC card (high-pass) cost 600 yen per day. The fuel efficiency was better than I expected. I used the service for 3 nights and 4 days and only refueled once on the last day; the total fuel cost was around 90,000 won. I visited both Biei and Otaru. I recommend this company!

Subaru Levorg

I wanted to try driving a Subaru, so I rented a Levorg. Picking it up at the airport parking lot was very convenient. The car was quite old and the paint was peeling in places, but I didn't mind, so I was able to use it without any worries, which was great. There were absolutely no problems with the car's performance or functions. As expected from Subaru's AWD. The only issue was that the ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) system was very unresponsive; the gate wouldn't open due to an error twice. It was very dangerous as I almost hit the gate. The return and pick-up process was smooth and without problems. Thank you very much.

Honda Step WGN

I had a great experience renting a car from BE KOBE Car Rental. The whole rental process was easy and convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they even helped us carry our luggage. The service was excellent, and both pick-up and return were quick and smooth. The price was also very reasonable. I highly recommend BE KOBE Car Rental to anyone looking to rent a car in Hokkaido. I also recommend getting their full coverage insurance for extra peace of mind. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and would definitely use BE KOBE again if I have the chance!

Honda Fit

The car is in excellent condition, only 16,000 kilometers on it, very new. I originally rented a Fit, but switched to a Toyota Raize. The trunk space is large, and more importantly, there's a lower partition that can fit two 20-inch suitcases.

Honda Fit

The car was a Toyota Raze, very new, with a clean and tidy exterior and interior. The trunk could fit a large 29-inch suitcase; since there were only two of us, we put the other suitcase in the back seat. The rental process was a little complicated, requiring an electronic rental method, but the staff were there to help. The return process was very simple and quick. A rental company I would recommend!

There was no shuttle service, but it was easily within walking distance from Sapporo Station. Sapporo itself has a well-developed public transportation system, so I felt like I didn't really need a car to get around the city. However, I thought a car might be necessary when going to the mountains or Shiroi Koibito Park, so I would recommend choosing the dates carefully and planning your rental car usage. I was anxious about driving on unfamiliar roads, so I initially purchased insurance through Trips, but the insurance offered by the local rental car company was simpler and cheaper, so I recommend purchasing insurance from Nippon Rent-A-Car.
