Honestly, given the price point and lack of transparency provided by Trip.com I was a bit worried about using this company and service. But Lo and behold they were more than fantastic. They had the ETC and winter tyres I requested as well as detailed instructions on what to do in case of any mishap. They added me to a group chat for extra support, luckily I never needed it as I drove very carefully and slowly in the snowy areas. The service staff were fantastic and they spoke English, Japanese as well as Mandarin. I can’t recommend them enough. The pick up location is a little short walk from their office and that location is near higashi Ueno station. There are a few local eateries so you could eat some yums before pick up too. Potentially the only downside is even though the cars are very clean and loads of extras were given to us like a car mount for my phone and chargers, the cars themselves were a bit old. But that makes sense for the value in the pricing.

Firstly will have to say the young man who handed over the car is so polite and friendly. Clearly told me the policy and what to do etc. car was a Honda with low klms and great fuel consumption. Clean car. Recommend using this car company as they are totally awesome and easy to deal with.
