The store was located in front of Kaohsiung Station. It was next to Burger King, McDonald's, Yoshinoya, and Sukiya. Although I'm not fluent in English or Chinese, the staff were very helpful and politely explained the Japanese translation and translated it on their smartphones. Since I'd already paid through trip.com, I selected whether or not to add insurance, paid a NT$10,000 deposit with my credit card, and accompanied the staff to the Kaohsiung Station bus stop (B1) across the street to pick up the car. I returned the car at the same location, filled up with gas at a designated gas station, and then returned it. After inspecting the vehicle, they deducted the NT$10,000 deposit. I then paid the ETC toll and roadside parking fee in cash, completing the return process. Unlike Japan, Taiwan is a city with left-hand drive, right-hand traffic, and a plethora of motorbikes, making driving a car quite challenging. However, it broadened my range of activities and made for a very fulfilling trip. While I don't recommend driving in Taiwan, if you're planning on renting a car, I highly recommend this store.
