Picking up the car from the hotel in Namba, Osaka, and returning it to the hotel in Harajuku, Tokyo, were both very convenient, and communication in Chinese was smooth. Even when we were involved in a minor collision with another car in Kawaguchiko, the group chat helped us resolve everything smoothly. The service from Namba to Tokyo was incredibly helpful for our 14-day family trip, and we are very grateful.

Although the car rental company doesn't have its own branch at Kansai Airport, they drop off the car on the 6th floor of the parking lot, and all the procedures are completed there. Returning the car is also a smooth process, taking you back to the 6th floor of Kansai Airport's second parking lot. However, because there were new scratches on the front bumper, the rental company required payment of the insurance claim fee first. Trip.com's customer service was very helpful in processing the insurance claim, and now we're just waiting for the insurance payment to arrive!

I booked a Mitsubishi D2, but received a Toyota Sienna instead. It's actually good because it's a hybrid, very fuel-efficient, and has plenty of cargo space. I arrived on time for pickup; the process was straightforward. I recommend taking photos of the car from all angles, as it has quite a few scratches. The car drives well without any problems, and I was impressed. The price was also reasonable. (Etc. There's a 30,000 yen deposit; I recommend bringing cash instead of a credit card deposit. When returning the car, they'll calculate the toll fees and deduct them from the deposit, returning any remaining amount.) I drove almost 1,000 km on this trip and spent about 8,000 yen on fuel.

This was my first time renting a car through trip.com, and I chose Be Kobe. The staff were excellent. I added them on WhatsApp to arrange a pickup at the airport. The company sent a van to pick me up on the 4th floor of the airport, and it took about 15 minutes to reach the rental company. The car was new and comfortable to drive. Although it was a small car, it was fun and not sluggish. I recommend buying the highest coverage car insurance so you don't have to worry while driving. It's best to purchase it on-site with the company; it costs 1,700 yen per day. This way, you get insurance from the rental company and don't have to pay upfront in case of an accident.

The rental company provided the original NBOX vehicle they had booked, and did not replace it with another vehicle. The car was clean and tidy, and in excellent condition. Our family trip first time to Japan, We rented our car from Bo Kobe in Tokyo for 5 days their services was so good on our 2nd day we book our car with Be Kobe Osaka for 4 days, their advisers told us many yes and no for us to drive smoothly in Japan for the first time. Their services are top notch, we could not find any other other places car rental companies comparable. Their cars are also very new, the car in Tokyo was only driven 500km and the one in Osaka was 5100km. Their services were have to say was the best. Airport pick up and drop of was also very detail, they would ask for your eta and etd and pre arrange transport for you entire group too.

I rented a Prius ZVW 51 for 8 days for a trip to Shikoku. The staff communicated in Mandarin, could read simplified Chinese, and even helped with luggage. They proactively contacted me via WhatsApp the day before pick-up and drop-off, which was very helpful. The car was indeed fuel-efficient; it only needed refueling after more than 900 kilometers, costing around HKD 300. The car was a bit old, showing the impressive track record of its previous owner (full of scratches), but that's beyond the rental company's control. The car provided a 12V cigarette socket and USB charging cable, a car phone holder, and a box of tissues. To prevent soiling the floor mats, they even placed a stain-resistant sheet on the driver's side floor mat when I picked it up – a thoughtful touch. However, since the car didn't have Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, navigation was a bit lacking; Google Maps on a phone was better. Regularly applying a water-repellent coating to the windshields would make driving in the rain much safer.
