The car was new, clean, and in very good condition. It was comfortable and easy to drive. The staff provided excellent service and were very helpful throughout the rental process.
One important thing to note is that you should not drive into Kaindy Lake. The company clearly has this rule, and if you enter the area, you may be fined $200. It is better to park your car before the entrance and take a local Soviet-style taxi into the lake area. They use GPS to track vehicles, so if you drive inside, the fine will be cut in your deposit .
Regarding the deposit, I received my refund without any problems. The main deposit was returned within three days, and the smaller amount (for parking fees or possible traffic fines) was refunded within ten days.
Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this rental company.

The car I received was exactly as I had booked. Although the interior wasn't the cleanest, it was ok. Since I'm a car lover, I washed it inside and out to make it look brand new. The staff at the car delivery and return service were excellent, and they even dropped me off at the airport on the last day of the trip. The car's performance was "excellent, safe, and extremely reliable." This experience will be remembered for a long time.

Loong Car Rental provided truly exceptional service during our ski trip and turned a very stressful situation into something manageable. When our family had a serious skiing accident, they immediately stepped in far beyond what any normal rental company would do. They sent staff all the way to the ski field to collect the car for us, so we did not have to worry about driving or logistics while dealing with emergency medical care.
They then assisted with translation and communication with the medical team, which was absolutely invaluable in a foreign country. Later, when a medical evacuation became necessary, they again arranged staff to pick us up and take us to the airport, helping with timing and luggage and making sure everything went smoothly.Loong Car Rental is not just professional and reliable, but genuinely caring. Their team treated us like family when we most needed support. A true 5-star experience, and we would strongly recommend them to anyone.

Feedback from a Thai driver: The car is good, a large one. Initially, it drove well. But after researching that this car is sold in China for around 600,000 baht, I immediately felt less confident (just my bias!). However, it took me everywhere without any accidents. I felt it was a bit unstable at speeds over 120 km/hr. The car's internal systems weren't very helpful; I could only control the air conditioning. I booked a gasoline-powered model, but this one had a battery charger, which I couldn't use. The service provider said it was a hybrid and would charge automatically, which I guess. It's fuel-efficient, but driving speeds here are limited to 40-60 km/hr in the city, although you can drive faster outside the city. It's a very uncomfortable driving experience. Also, the lane system is different from Thailand, and the steering wheel is on the opposite side. There are a lot of police, and they're very diligent, constantly issuing fines. U-turns have to be done at intersections, so you need to be very careful when driving here, especially if you're coming from Thailand. Finding parking is difficult, and parking requires a scanning-to-pay system linked to your local bank account, which isn't compatible. There are so many obstacles. But I managed to rent it for 7 days. Looking for someone with a strong work ethic. **There's an additional car wash fee of 7,000 rupees when returning the car.**

This is hands down the best way to see the Almaty region was renting a car. We had ours for 5 days and saw a huge amount of the area. Pickup was easily communicated before arrival and we were collected from the airport. Rental company was very helpful and provided everything we needed. The car itself was great.
