When art arrives, the streets transform into a stage, a playground for free play! The 2026 Goyang Lake Art Festival will transform everyday spaces into a unique art stage, presenting a rich array of street art performances encompassing circus, magic, aerial acrobatics, and other art forms, along with interactive experiences for the public. A variety of spectacular performances will be staged in Rishan Lake Park, offering audiences and artists a unique interactive experience; at night, dazzling fireworks will illuminate the lake, and special nighttime activities will create an unforgettable romantic atmosphere.

This exhibition features approximately 40 works selected from the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA)'s global art collection, aiming to offer visitors a fresh experience and profound reflection, much like the original "curiosities cabinet." Visitors can appreciate not only 19th-century European art from the Lee Kun-hee Collection, acquired by the museum in 2021, but also numerous outstanding global artworks that broaden the horizons of modern art.

The Pocheon Hantan River Garden Festival will be held from September 12th to November 1st at the Hantan River Ecological Landscape Park. This year's festival focuses on appreciating the autumn gardens and the natural scenery of the Hantan River. Pohang City has not only focused on flower viewing but has also carefully designed various activities to allow visitors to leisurely immerse themselves in the beauty of the Hantan River while strolling through the gardens and experiencing a variety of activities.

The Shixing Beach Festival aims to raise awareness of ecology, the environment, and family through games and activities. The festival features a variety of activities, including an "Eco-Orienteering Mission" (participants wear "Family Run" T-shirts and explore the festival grounds), a salt pan playground, a virtual family run in the river valley, river quizzes, and a family speed quiz. Families who complete the missions will receive a completion medal from the festival organizers. Don't miss the vocal festival, jazz concerts, and the Xiagou Moonlight Night Tour, all set against the backdrop of the ancient salt pans and the Xiagou salt pans.
