Our ninth #TAL19 will take place on Sunday 16 November 2025 . Every kilometre you run will mark a year of Talan's life. This is a multi-terrain 19km run in and around Bude and will take in some of Talan's favourite places. All the money we raise from this year's #TAL19 will support research into Rhabdomyosarcoma (the disease that Talan had), at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London. At the heart of all we do is Talan, for this one day his name is on everyone's lips and every mile, every penny is in memory of the cheeky chap he was. Please help us raise money for research into the cancer that took him from us and to help us raise awareness of childhood cancer. Raising awareness helps early diagnosis which is imperative in this disease. How you can take part: Runners can take part in this race as a single runner or in pairs. There is also the option of running a shorter distance of 10km as a single runner. AND there is another option- to complete the 19kms anywhere and anyhow you like in the week leading up to the race - so from Saturday 8 November - Saturday 15 November you can run/walk/hop/skip/swim the 19kms, either in one go, or split into smaller distances over the week. Prices: 19km Single Runner entries - £28 plus eventbrite booking fee Pairs 19km - £30 plus eventbrite booking fee Single 10km runner £12 plus eventbrite booking fee Anyhow, Anywhere 19km - £19 plus eventbrite booking fee Runners must be 17 or over (there will be a junior race for under 17's) Entries are personal to the entrant, please do not transfer your entry to another runner. We don't offer refunds or a deferral if you are unable to take part in the race. We've never actually been asked to give a refund or deferral by any of our entrants who have been unable to take part. We think that's because all the money collected from entry fees goes to fund research into the disease that Talan had. Thank you - it means a lot to us that you are so brilliantly kind and supportive in this way. If the race has to be postponed for any reason then we will aim to re-organise the event once we are able to do so, and carry over your entries to the new date. We will of course discuss options with those runners who are unable to make the re-organised event. Information Source: Talan's Trust | eventbrite
