This exhibition marks Mariko Mori's first solo museum exhibition in Japan in 24 years, since "Mariko Mori: Pure Land" at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo in 2002. As the first event focusing on the "dance" scenes from the work, it delivers an emotionally rich space that expresses both breathtaking views and the delicate emotions of the characters. The Spanish Festival, established in 2013 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Spain, has grown into one of Japan's largest Spanish festivals. In 2026, the event will be held on November 14th and 15th at the Yoyogi Park Event Plaza in Tokyo. This year's Spanish cuisine will be even more abundant than ever before. The Showa Memorial Park Cosmos Festival, a major autumn flower festival in Tachikawa City, Tokyo, will be held from September 12 to October 25, 2026, showcasing millions of colorful cosmos flowers. The Flower Hill will feature approximately 4 million "Lemon Bright" yellow cosmos flowers, the East Garden will display 200,000 pink "Sensation" cosmos flowers and 100,000 red buckwheat flowers, and the Autumn Bouquet Garden will gather approximately 200,000 cosmos flowers of about 20 varieties, along with 1,800 seasonally changing broom grass plants (turning from green to red). Special festival activities include "Soap Bubble Photography Time" in the various flower fields.
