Join our friendly and welcoming arts group based in South Liverpool for a free taster session. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, we invite you to become a part of our established community. With members ranging from beginners to seasoned artists, we take pride in offering a supportive environment where experience and support are always available. Many of our members have commissioned and exhibited their work across the city of Liverpool, showcasing their skills and styles in various mediums such as watercolour, acrylic, oil pastel, soft pastel, still life, and coloured pencil.
What sets us apart is our commitment to your self-development. Our weekly sessions allow you to share experiences, enhance your skills, and explore various techniques within a supportive and encouraging group. Throughout the year, we offer life drawing opportunities with professional models, still life sessions, workshops, and demonstrations in watercolour, pastel, oils, and portraits. In addition, we provide opportunities to enter competitions, such as the watercolour challenge and the chairmans cup competition, and exhibit your work locally.
For beginners, all you need is a pencil and sketchbook, along with a picture or object to draw. For more experienced artists, bring your ongoing project and art materials of your choice. We provide access to water and a sink for your convenience. Don't worry about having a vast amount of art supplies – our experienced members can provide guidance on useful materials.
Join us every Monday evening (except bank holidays) from 7pm to 9pm at the Wilberforce Room, Bridge Chapel Centre, Heath Road, Garston, Liverpool, L19 4XR.
