Winter Break Camp SCRAP, hosted by SCRAP Creative Reuse, is an exciting seasonal crafts camp that offers a unique creative experience for campers in first through fifth grade. This camp focuses on exploring the possibilities of discarded materials and encourages campers to unleash their artistic ideas. With a combination of staff-led projects and free creation time, campers will have the opportunity to design their own projects using materials from the SCRAP store and studio.
The camp day is filled with engaging activities, games, and experiments that will keep campers entertained and challenged. While having fun, campers will also be able to create quality, useful projects that showcase their own creativity. SCRAP emphasizes the importance of a respectful attitude and asks campers to come prepared with a lunch that does not require refrigeration and closed-toe shoes.
Winter Break Camp SCRAP will take place on December 27th at the SCRAP Creative Reuse venue located at 4567 Washtenaw Avenue, Ann Arbor, MI 48108. The drop-off time is between 9:30-9:45 AM, and the pick-up time is between 3:15-3:30 PM.
For qualifying families, SCRAP offers a limited number of Camp SCRAP scholarships based on need and availability. Scholarships provide an opportunity for more children to participate in this enriching experience. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please complete the Scholarship Application.
