By incorporating strength and toning exercises, deep stretches, and mindful movements, this class aims to build lean muscle, boost metabolism, and enhance balance. It offers a harmonious mix of physical challenges and relaxation, allowing participants to generate heat and stay comfortably warm even on cooler days.
Jessica Lee Reader, an experienced instructor, will guide you through the session, offering valuable instruction, modifications, and encouragement. This lakeside experience is suitable for all levels, whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner. Find your perfect balance of movement and mindfulness as you elevate your strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.
To participate, bring your yoga mat, water thermos, sunscreen, and wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. Be prepared for potentially cooler weather and bring extra layers. Restrooms are available in the brick buildings within the county park.
The cost for the event is $15 per participant, with 20% of the proceeds going to support the Conestee Nature Preserve. Participants must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a guardian. Parking is available at the Lake Entrance, and the meeting time is 10:45 a.m. for a nature hike to the East Bay Observation Deck, followed by the yoga session at 11 a.m.
