MEMBERS ONLY EVENT Girls Football Tournament for member schools. Schools can enter Y5/6 teams. The top two placed winners from each area, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells will head through into the final which will be held at Longmead stadium on the Tonbridge Angels first team pitch! Schools can enter more than one team. Time: 4pm arrival (NO EARLIER) as gates do not ipen until this time, for a 4pm start. Finished by 6pm Venue: St Gregory's School sports centre entrance Tunbridge Wells, 3G Astro Parking: On site on the St Greg's playground more information will be sent closer to the event Parent Spectators: Allowed. MUST stay behind barriers/fencing Team Req: 5aside with max 8 per team. Girls in Y5 or Y6 Event Capacity: 20 teams (10 Tonbridge, 10 Tunbridge Wells) MEMBERS ONLY Rules/Game Play All players must be in Y5 or Y65 on the pitch at any one timeGoalkeepers must be in a different colour top to outfield players.All players must be wearing shin pads and correct footwear (moulded boots, no metal studs, or AstroTurf trainers)Free kicks can be direct (doesn’t need to be passed to someone first before scoring).Players must be 4 yards from the kicking during free kicks and goal kicks.Slide tackling is allowed, however dangerous challenges/tackles will be called up and that player warnedBack passes are allowed (keeper is not allowed to pick it up).Ball is allowed overhead height.Corners are in play.If the ball goes out of play it will be a throw in NOT a kick in.Referee has the authority of the match (pupils and teachers must respect the referee’s decision- it is final!).When a goal is scored, play is restarted from the centre.Players are allowed to enter the penalty area on both ends.Substitutes can be made throughout the game and the play does not have to stop.There will be no yellow or red cards however warnings can be given to players and then referees have the right to ask teachers to swap players out for the remainder of that fixture. All people will need to depart at 6pm sharp due to other bookings taking place.

Croquet can be a really easy game, but it really helps your enjoyment of the game if you've been taught how to hold your mallet, hit a ball properly, run hoops, make breaks and the proper rules! Our Introduction to Croquet course provides a full introduction to the two main varieties of croquet. Each course is two days, either Saturday 26th/Sunday 27th orTuesday 29th/Wednesday 30th April.. Don't worry if you know nothing about croquet - this course is designed for you! Or if you have played croquet before, perhaps in the garden, but aren't really sure about all the rules, then come along - we'll teach you everything you need to know. These courses will be run by a qualified coach and last from 10am to 4pm including a break for lunch and several tutored play sessions. We're running this course twice in April, but if the dates don't suit you please contact us at coaching@tunbridgewellscroquet.org.uk and we'll see what we can arrange. PS Your membership fee for the year will be reduced to £30 if you decide to join the club and pay at the end of the course.

Use Odeon car park or street near by and walk through to the school field. Please communicate this will all children's parents/carers Event Availability: 12 schools from Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells Team Requirements: 10 children with 8 playing at one time, must be player from both Y1 and Y2, minimum of 2 children from each gender Team sheet: YES (Please send to Myself or Adam) At this stage we are only allowing schools to enter ONE TEAM to allow ALL schools the opportunity to attend. Closer to the time we will look at offering additional places if we have capacity. R ules/Game Play: A team shall consist of 8 players with 2 spareThe playing team (of 8 players) must consist of a minimum of 2 children from each gender Each game shall consist of 2 innings - each team batting once. The team batting first to be decided by coin toss An innings consists of 1 turn per batsman Total number of runs scored decides the outcome of the game, highest score wins Only completed runs count towards the batting teams total. A completed run is half a circuit around the stumps Fielders must not move nor obstruct the balls until the third ball is hit - except to avoid injury. A 1 run penalty will be added to the batter’s score for each fielder that moves or deliberately obstructs a ball before the 3rd ball is struck. It is encouraged that the scorers give the fielders a reminder for the first discrepancy. Running ceases once all items have been replaced, as per the start of the batters turn and all fielders return behind the fielding line. Spot, Tee, Cone, Ball must be replaced .Teams will score 3 points for win, 2 for a tie, and 1 for a loss in the group stages.In the play-off stage in the event of a tie the winner will be decided by a sudden death play-off. Whereby one batter from each team will have a further go in turn. The highest run scorer will decide the game. This shall continue until there is a clear winner. The decision of the umpires/ organiser is final.
