Renowned interdisciplinary artist Kim Tateo will mesmerize attendees with her improvisational work of art, combining sound and live painting. Collaborating with talented musicians Connor Armbruster on the violin and Sam Torres on sax and electronics, Kim's performance promises to be a truly unique experience. Following the performance, join Nicole Romanelli of Moving Peace for an ecstatic dance session, where you can let go of inhibitions and move your body freely.
In the side gallery room, be captivated by the "What Blooms in Moonlight" painting series. These artworks by Kim Tateo embody the concept of finding hope, joy, and bliss even in the midst of challenging times. They serve as a reminder to embrace all emotions and create space for growth. You'll have the opportunity to purchase the painting created during the event, with all proceeds benefiting a local community organization. You can even suggest an organization to support, and a lucky name will be drawn at the event.
What Blooms in Moonlight is made possible by the Statewide Community Regrants Program, supported by the New York State Council on the Arts and administered by The Arts Center of the Capital Region.
