Join us at Mission Gallery in the Maritime Quarter for a special event, the Quiet Session- Winter Candle Decorating. This workshop is specifically designed for children aged 7 and above, with autism or learning difficulties. The session will take place on Saturday, 9th December 2023, from 2pm to 3pm.
During the Quiet Session, participants will have the opportunity to decorate their own winter-themed candles and create personalized clay candle holders. These beautiful creations will bring warmth and light to the darker nights of winter, making them perfect gifts for the holiday season. All materials will be provided, and spaces are limited due to the venue's capacity. We kindly ask that you book a ticket for each child attending and honor your commitment to attend.
At Mission Gallery, we strive to make our workshops as accessible as possible. If you are able to support our future workshops and education programs, we kindly ask for a donation on the day. Your contribution will help us continue providing these valuable opportunities.
To book your place or for further information, please contact Megan Leigh, Learning & Engagement Coordinator, at 01792 652016 or email megan@missiongallery.co.uk. Please inform us of any access requirements, allergies, or medical conditions. The workshop will take place on the first floor of the gallery, accessed via steep stairs. Assistance will be available if needed.
Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to create and celebrate the season with us at Mission Gallery's Quiet Session- Winter Candle Decorating.
