Het Panamarenkohuis | Panamarenkohuis
Arts
Immerse yourself in the world of Panamarenko and explore the house where he lived and worked for many years. Following a brief period of renovation, the public now has the opportunity to discover the remarkable content and architecture of this historic building located at Biekorfstraat. Panamarenko's artistic journey, which began in the 1960s, has gained international recognition. However, what is less known is that the majority of his body of work was created in his studio, which also served as his residence. In 2002, after his departure from the city, Panamarenko generously donated the property to the M HKA, which then embarked on the dismantling and renovation process. Today, the beautifully restored building stands as a testament to an intriguing artistic adventure that continues to thrive within the M HKA's collection. Given the fragile nature of this hidden piece of art history, each guided tour is limited to a maximum of 8 individuals. Don't miss the opportunity to witness the captivating legacy of Panamarenko at Het Panamarenkohuis in Antwerpen.
