Our headphones are completely compatible with standard hearing aids, however if the hearing aids are designed to amplify in the range of 70hz-8500hz, the headphones are unlikely to be compatible. This would potentially cause them distortion and across the board for all Silent disco Equipment. 10. Is food/drink available for purchase at your events? We offer a fully stocked bar at all of our events. Food vendors are only available at outdoor events. 11. Is there a dress code? There is no strict dress code for the event. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. However, if the event is being held in a cathedral, we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing high heels as they may cause damage to the cathedral flooring. You may not be allowed entry if you are wearing stilettos or high heeled shoes that can damage historic flooring of venues. 12. How can I contact you if I have further questions? The local cop was across the street getting his hair cut at the local barber shop and bank patrons were horrified, shocked, and frozen with fear! Did the robbers get the vault opened? Did they escape with the cash? And most importantly - did they get caught by the famous cop of the day Otto McClevis?

This course is designed to get you as involved as possible - this includes identifying, picking and tasting a range of wild species that will be found on the day. There will also be samples of wild food and drink for everyone to get stuck into and a pre-made wild snack!
The focus with all of our workshops is on the 4 'F's of Foraging:
Fungi, Fruit, Flowers and Foliage

What To Expect
Our 'Forage & Nibble' workshops are exactly that: you will spend the day learning how to forage with your tutor and then be treated to a 'wild snack' to put it all into context! These have become our most popular events and are available at numerous locations around the country.
DURATION: 3 hours
(approx 2.5 hours of foraging and 30 mins preparing and eating your wild snack)
We like to keep some elements a surprise for the day, but here is what you can expect from your foraging workshop:
a short introduction regarding the safety and format of the day
discussions around foraging tips, safety, ethics, etiquette, sustainability and the law
a circular walking route taking in different growing environments around the site.
Expect a route of around 2-3km predominantly on footpaths
a closer look at edible wild species and any poisonous lookalikes by a professional forager
a chance to slow the pace of modern life down, meet new people and immerse yourself in a soul-nourishing activity, reconnecting with nature and discovering new flavours
small tasters of wild food - this may even include freshly-picked items straight from the wild and a wild snack. Your wild snack might be something we find on the day freshly cooked in the woods, a hunk of homemade sourdough with some wild pickles and preserves, or even a big slice of cake (our tutors are decent cooks too so it could be something even better!)
our workshops are run in a welcoming and informal fashion, where attendee questions and contributions are encouraged
after the event, you will be sent a follow-up email containing a list of everything we found on the day. Please do not expect photos or descriptions in this email - it is purely a list for reference purposes, and we find it helps people do further research in their own time.

At the end of the session, there may be a small selection of
our wild products
and workshop vouchers available to purchase (card and cash accepted). This is a recent element of our events after enough attendees made enquiries about it - there is no pressure to buy anything having already bought tickets but sometimes people want a souvenir to take with them! You will be asked for any dietary requirements when completing your booking. Please note that our workshops may not be suitable for vegans and coeliacs unless you inform us of these dietary requirements in advance - we may use butter or bread, for example. Bookings made within 48 hours of the event start time may not allow for your tutor to cater for specific dietary requirements - please get in touch if this is a concern.
Attendees are encouraged to walk, cycle or use public transport to get to the destination.

There is plenty of free parking at this venue. Please be considerate when leaving your car and do not block gates or access for other road users.

Toilets are available at the start but not on the walking route.
Please arrive well in time for the start of the workshop, allowing extra time for the distance from your parked car to the meeting point and any toilet trips - we don't tend to wait for late-comers!

Who's revved up for our next event? Our inaugural W.R.E.V.S. event was amazing and we can't wait to do it again!
We'll meet at the picnic sites at 12p.m. to stretch and warm-up, then set out on the Riverside Trail from
AllTrails
at 12:15.
Volunteers to help set up the picnic area at 11:30 a.m. are always appreciated!
The path we chose has both paved path running and trail running, with the trail suitable for jogging strollers and bikes as well.
Go at your own pace to finish the loop which ends at the picnic area just in time for lunch!
Spend the rest of the day, sharing food, vibing to tunes played by DJ Elvis Prime, socializing and hopefully making new friends! We'll organize some games for the kids and there is a playground adjacent to the picnic area, as well as paddle boats for rent! The full list of park amenities

Bring a dish to share, and we will also have the BBQ fired up so if you bring stuff to grill up for your family our cook can take care of that! And don't forget your water bottles and drinks! Selected picnic sites allow alcohol so we will try to snag one of those sites!

DURING THE SESSION
You can meditate and sleep, or you may choose to stay awake and drift in and out of sleep throughout the session as the sound of the gongs and vibration gently washes over you.
The healing will finish with Shuniya - brief and silent time, just a couple of minutes that is called the “Shuniya” or “Sunyata”, literally meaning “emptiness” or “void”. This is the time for the sounds to settle, so the inner peace and the oneness will remain with you for the rest of the evening.

Door will be open promptly at 4.40pm. Event will start promptly at 5pm
Late-comers will not be allowed in once the event is underway!

Before entering the hall, please take a deep breath, release tensions, stress and calmly enter the room.
Once you enter to the room, please remain calm and peaceful. We create a relaxing, sacred space. You are welcome to chat to your friends after the session.
