Hosted by Jane Harker, co-producer of the hit play Wor Bella. Jane will speak on how women's football developed and thrived in WW1, only to be criminally banned by the FA in 1921. No longer banned in 1971, women reclaimed the sport. Christine Knox became the first Geordie Lioness of the new era. Playing for Wallsend Ladies, Whitley Bay Ladies and North Shields Ladies, Christine won ten England caps in the 1970s and 1980s.
