Join a small, supportive group for a relaxed cycle ride in and around Faversham at the Faversham New Year Cycle Ride event. Led by Cycle Instructor/Ride Leader Rachael Carley, participants will enjoy an hour of leisurely cycling through the local lanes. The event will take place on January 6, 2024, starting at 10 am at Macknade Food Hall in Faversham. After the ride, participants will be treated to a complimentary hot drink and homemade cake back at Macknade. To ensure a pleasant cycling experience, participants are advised to bring a roadworthy bike and a cycling helmet (recommended). It is also recommended to wear close-fitting, comfortable clothes suitable for the weather and to bring eye protection, gloves, and sensible footwear. Don't forget to bring a drink and a spare inner tube for your bike. Sustainable travel to the event is encouraged, and free parking is available at Macknade for those who need to bring a car (spaces are limited). The Faversham New Year Cycle Ride is a partnership venture between Carley Coaching and Macknade, aimed at promoting the benefits of cycling.
