Beginner Bike Skills is a HUB Cycling course for adults who have not yet learned to ride a bike or lack the basic handling skills or confidence to cycle for urban transportation. This small group 2-hour course occurs completely off-road, in a safe and comfortable environment for new riders. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, participants will practice fundamental bike handling skills such as balance, braking, steering, and pedaling. UBC football head coach Blake Nill has asked for the Thunderbird Football Alumni’s assistance in maximizing allowable scholarships for the 2025 season. Currently the program only funds ~ 60% of allowable scholarships. The T.F.A. have set a goal to match our 2024 contribution of $50,000 to close the scholarship gap. We are looking for people and companies to become sponsors at several different levels to help us achieve this goal. All sponsors will have the opportunity to have their company or personal name attached to a TFA scholarship that will be presented to members of the 2025 football team.
