The Maryland Wear & Carry Course (CCW) on 28 January and 4 February from 10 am to 6 pm is a prerequisite training course necessary to obtain a Maryland Wear and Carry Permit. It is important to note that this is a two-day event, and attendees must be present on both days. The course, hosted by Engage Armament LLC at their venue in Rockville (701 East Gude Drive #101, Rockville, MD 20850), is designed to fulfill the 16-hour requirement mandated by Maryland law. Participants will receive their certificate upon completion of both the classroom and range portions of the course. While this course covers the fundamentals of handguns, firearm usage, and Maryland firearm law, it focuses primarily on more advanced topics such as ballistics, firearm selection, carry considerations, and vehicle considerations.
