The Wolff Sisters is fronted by three sisters -- Rebecca on acoustic guitar, Kat on keys, Rachael on electric guitar, and all three on lead vocals and harmonies. Raised on Bob Dylan, The Band, and Little Feat, the sisters crafted their sound around a honky tonk piano in the living room of their childhood home. UNSCRIPTED is a six-week workshop series for people who are interested in exploring their own moving body as an aesthetic experience and as art. Participants will be guided through individual and collective processes of body and movement attention and creative exploration, into the structuring of personal and innovative dance art. Individual levels of experience will provide the base for each participant’s exploration, offering paths ahead for interested beginner to advanced artists. The atmosphere will be one of positivity, creativity, diversity & celebration of each participant’s body, movement and artistic potential. Contemporary dance is an inclusive & celebratory medium, focusing the choreographic eye to movement of all types of bodies, in new spaces, with new thematic goals, soundtracks, etc. The workshop series will be facilitated by Leda Muhana & Dave Iannitelli, who bring more than 50 years combined experience in coaching, motivating and fine-tuning contemporary dance-making. These Movimento Project workshops are supported by grants from the Wellfleet, Orleans and Harwich Cultural Councils. This workshop happens weekly from March 5th through April 16th. Overview Debra McCulloch Hopkins has been an integral part of the Cape Cod MTB community for many years. Soon she will be relocating to Vermont and she wants to celebrate with her mountain biking friends before the move. Deb has graciously secured a venue and a band and asked Cape Cod NEMBA to put all the pieces together to create a great day that will double as a fundraiser for the MTB community here on the Cape. Here is a quick summary of the event... We'll kick off the festivities with a mountain bike ride along Cape Cod's majestic National Seashore. After the ride, we will regroup at The Block & Tackle for food and beverages. Your ticket includes a complimentary beer from Lawson's Finest Liquids. Once our appetites have been satiated, we'll rock out to a live performance by The Grab Brothers Band. More details below... Participants meet at the main gate to the cemetery on Gross Hill Road (opposite the police station) where they join a local WHS&M historian for a 90-minute look at Pleasant Hill and Oakdale Cemeteries. Argentine Tango is a beautiful style of dance that is known for its elegance and sophistication. It allows the dancers to develop a deep connection between themselves, the music, and the environment in which they are dancing. The class is from 6-7pm. Filmmaker, writer, and NYU film professor Mo Ogrodnik launches her debut novel GULF ! Told through a prism of several female voices, GULF follows five women with vastly different origins—from the Philippines to Ethiopia to New York City—whose lives bring them to the Arabian Gulf, where they collide with devastating and profound consequences. As cinematic as her films, this debut—written with unsettling intimacy and determined empathy—exposes the stark realities of what happens when a woman’s agency is stripped away. The Wellfleet House Tour is around the corner! 2025 will offer a new collection of homes, ranging from iconic colonial to mid century modern and lots more in between. Come see all the architectural wonders Wellfleet has to offer! All ticket booklets must be picked up at the Museum on the day of the event. The ticket booklet will include the addresses, a description of each property,  driving directions, and parking tips. Refreshments and our Museum Shop Tent will be available at House #6. At each location, docents will be on hand to help you appreciate some of the highlights of what you’ll be seeing.
