The 2024 Fur Rondy Running of the Reindeer is an event that promises excitement and fun for all participants. Taking place on Saturday, March 02, 2024, at 4 p.m., this internationally acclaimed race allows racers to choose from four different "herds" as they dash down the streets of Anchorage in a thrilling attempt to outrun reindeer. Hosted by Fur Rondy, this event serves as a fundraiser for Toys for Tots, providing a great way to support the Alaskan community. The event is open to participants aged 18 years or older, with online registration closing at 10 p.m. on March 1, 2024. For those who miss the online registration, same-day registration is available from noon to 4 p.m. on March 2, 2024, at the Dena'ina Center. Additionally, there is a week of Bib Pickup and late entry option from Wednesday to Friday, February 28 to March 1, between noon and 6 p.m. at the 4th Ave Market Place located at 333 W 4th Ave, Anchorage.
