Evoking the memory of legends like Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, and John Prine, Felker’s nimble self-accompaniment underscores the raw, universal themes he brings to life with his reedy tenor. Possessing an innate ability to weave no-bullshit narratives that capture the real struggles of the hard-done-by, Felker’s latest LP, Even The Happy Ones Are Sad, delivers a sublime interpretation of the underground country and folk sounds of the early to mid-1970s. With songs full of resilience, grit, and hope, his music introduces audiences to a cast of born losers who keep pushing forward, searching for fortune a little deeper down. 🍹 Craft Cocktails & Award-Winning Spirits Come for the music, stay for the drinks! Join us for an engaging class focused on the four decision-making skills that allow families to gain the skills they need to work together in making decisions. Discover new ways to approach challenges and make informed choices together. New Ways for Families Decision Skills course offers a new method that has been designed to be simple and repetitive, so that almost all parents can learn these skills and apply them in their lives when dealing with each other, with their children, and with anyone. Many of these decisions need to be made with a former spouse or partner who may have temporary or long-term difficulty in making reasonable decisions. This in-person event will be held at the PACE Centre (west training doors) . Light refreshments will be served. Don't miss this opportunity.
