The Phnom Penh International Photography Festival, a major event in Southeast Asian photography, will be held in the heart of Cambodia's capital from October 22 to November 22, 2026. This festival will coincide with the 20th Francophonie Summit in Cambodia this year, bringing together emerging and established artists, curators, and professionals from around the world, particularly representatives from Francophonie communities. This year's Cambodian Water Festival (Bon Om Touk in Khmer) was held from November 23rd to 25th. The banks of the Tonle Sap River in Phnom Penh were ablaze with activity, with boat races and fireworks illuminating the city, making it one of the region's most spectacular festivals. While celebrations take place throughout the country, the main festivities are held on the banks of the Tonle Sap River in Phnom Penh. Crowds thronged the riverside promenades to catch a glimpse of the ornately decorated longboats, each carrying up to 100 people, racing across the water. In the evening, a dazzling fireworks display followed, followed by a series of brightly lit floats—usually sponsored by government departments or major institutions—dancing along the river. However, the Water Festival is not just about boat races. It is also a grand celebration of gratitude from the Cambodian people to the land and water. This is primarily achieved through three special ceremonies. The Loy Pratip is a brightly lit water parade where ornately decorated boats sail along the waterways. Sampeas Preah Khe is the full moon ceremony, celebrated throughout the country with offerings and tributes to the moon. The final ceremony is Auk Ambok, a traditional dish made with flat rice, bananas, and coconut. It is enjoyed after midnight, during the celebration of the harvest month.

Roseanne Broadway is located on Route 6. It is understood that there are about 90 "ladyboys" in this troupe, of which 70 percent are Khmer and 30 percent are Thai. The theater can hold 900 people at the same time. The "ladyboy" here is slender, naturally beautiful, and graceful. The content of each performance is the style of different countries, such as Cambodian folk songs and dances, unrestrained Brazilian samba, burlesque and Hong Kong and Taiwan pop songs. The scene is grand and the stage lights are colorful. The biggest feature is the integration of famous ethnic costumes and background fabrics from various regions in Asia, which can be described as rich and colorful. After the song and dance performance, the "ladyboys" of the show had lined up to say goodbye at the entrance of the hall in advance, and took photos with the audience.
