Absolute Losers is a rock trio from Charlottetown, PEI. The band made a bold entrance with their post-punk leaning debut, At The Mall. The band’s next chapter sees them embracing their knack for sharp, straight-to-the-point pop songwriting—all without losing the raw edge that’s made them stand out. (@absolute_losers_) Sophie Noel (fka Magnolia) is interested in writing where the mundane and intangible intersect, finding meaning in isolating potent moments of relatability between the two. Cartwheeling between indie folk, art rock, and ’90s grunge lite, their music has been described as "similar to Cate le Bon but more accessible". (@srophie) Zach Pelletier, a Fredericton-based musician, blends post-punk and slacker rock with a distinct "yucky charm". His guitar-driven sound embraces rough edges and out-of-place textures, creating a raw, offbeat energy.
