Emily Marques is a singer-songwriter based in Hamilton, Ontario. She grew up loving the poetic power of lyrics, which inspired her to start writing songs at 12 years old. Emily released her first single “Old School Love” in 2015, which was reviewed as the Single of the Week by Cultured Vultures. Emily collaborated with numerous artists, including Chromak, Brock Hewitt, Koma Spazeman, Phoenix Keyz, and Alex Frisby, and released several singles and her debut EP, “Freedom” in 2021. Emily is also an esteemed yoga teacher at De La Sol Yoga Studios in Hamilton. Like many songwriters, Emily's writing is derived from her life, the lives of those around her, and her innermost thoughts and emotions.
