Taking place on a summer morning, the story unfolds as these women, who are strangers to one another, unexpectedly meet on a roadside. Playwright John MacKenna aims to shed light on the lives of these vanished women, emphasizing their strengths, weaknesses, and the everyday challenges they faced before going missing. Under the direction of Emma Kinsella, 'Breathless' challenges its audience to contemplate life, death, and the resilience required to face the unexpected. The talented cast, including Deirdre Colhoun, Lily Mae O'Brien, Miriam Dowd, and Andrea Bolger, brings these complex characters to life on stage.
