Join the 1-hour live online workshop, "Fuelling your Fitness for Women in Sport," presented by Laois Sports Partnership in collaboration with EduFIT. Led by Ruth Kavanagh, MSc. ANutr. (Registered Associate Nutritionist), this workshop aims to educate women in sport about sports nutrition. Topics covered include the optimal types of carbs, proteins, and fats for sports nutrition, recommended macronutrient intake per meal, pre- and post-workout meal ideas, and the importance of refueling, repairing, rehydrating, and renourishing. The workshop will also discuss the use of supplements and their benefits. As a participant, you will receive evidence-based information, practical tips, and take-home resources. The workshop will be conducted online via Zoom. Coaches and female liaison officers supporting women in sport are also encouraged to attend.
