Join us for the third annual UPK Leadership Institute, a summit dedicated to advancing high-quality early learning in San Mateo County. This institute will convene the San Mateo County Universal Pre-Kindergarten Mixed Delivery Early Learning Partners and School District Leadership to deepen alignment, coordinate efforts, and strengthen the infrastructure for a high-quality, cohesive mixed-delivery system. Attendees will leave with practical tools and guided action plans to directly enhance their own programs. Sessions will help participants identify strategies to overcome local implementation challenges, improve instructional quality through evidence-based guidance, and sustain inclusive and developmentally appropriate practices across Transitional Kindergarten, Preschool, Family Child Care, ELOP, and After School Programs. Participants will gain insights through focused dialogue, examination of key program components, and the sharing of promising practices, equipping them with ideas and resources applicable to their unique roles. This class takes place over two evenings. It covers the process of labor, non-medical/medical pain interventions, and a Birth Center tour. This class will help prepare expectant families for the arrival of a new baby. Participants will have the opportunity to ask a certified childbirth educator questions about labor and birth. This class is intended to provide expert support for the challenges of pregnancy and labor over two evenings. Plan to participate about 6 or more weeks before your due date.
